Harbhajan and Zaheer could still prove to be thorn in the Aussie flesh, so Aussies should drop any intensity and clean up the tail quickly...

Whos fault was the sachin run out?

Wasn't it his call? dhoni i think was a bit caught on his heels ,as he should have been backing up and run as soon as sachin called.

You never right Australia off at anything in sport. We kiwis have learnt our lesson time and time again here and it looks like India could well have made the same mistake.

If Australia can keep the lead under 300, they stand a real chance. What a game this could turn out to be.

He hit it str8 to a fielder and took off and it was quite shocking the miscommunication there.

Finally a run out too Aust - long time coming tht.

The thing that worries me is that even if we manage to get them out for a reasonable score, on a deteriorating pitch, India will use the defensive bowling tactics again. That means we won't be able to score off the pacers and then the spinners will pick us off one by one.

India didn't right Australia off to be fair, they did the opposite, they panicked.

The thing is buddy the pitch stopped deteriorating since day one. It batting freindly as you see in the rare glimpses of vijay and sehwag.

Great stuff by the Aussies i think they got this all over b4 tea tommr. India all out half way through third session for a lead of 280ish.

Ponting and Hussey to chase it down with a century from hayden.

WTF??? Go away when India was 1-110 or sumthin for two hours (vball) and come back to see this. Absolutely astounding - did all the Indian bats just have one massive brain drop out. Seriously why would you give the Aussies a sniff, frickin livid right now

It's really not *that* hard to score off. Sure, it was defensive, but the lines they were bowling wouldn't necessarily all be called wide in one day cricket and Australia have had no problems scoring upwards of five an over in that format.

Obviously it's different circumstances given the pitch condition etc, but I don't think it's impossible to score off by any stretch.
