***Official Australia in India***

I think the myth that New South Welshmen get a baggy green with their baggy blue has finally been debunked. Clark has just been dropped for a NSW reject while an ineffective Victorian captain has retained his place.

Meanwhile Bollinger, Bracken and Casson sit on the sidelines watching this piss weak attack get hammered.

I very much doubt the Australian team has already resigned themselves to a draw.
India will bat out the day if they have too, to secure the series

Hypothetically speaking if India get to 550, than Australia would have to bat @ 4-5 an over and declare around 425. Bowl India out again and then Complete the greatest Run Chase of all time

Things can change very fast with 1 delievery or a loose shot but it's looking bleak for Australia at the moment

Yeah ****...
To be fair to Krejza hes not *that* bad. Hes not very good thats for sure, but hes certainly not even the worst bowler in this current Australian side. That honor goes to Cameron White who is up there with Hauritz as 2 of the worst bowlers to play cricket in modern times.

As far as Krejza is concerned, he bowls with decent flight and loop and has got the ball to turn a fair bit in this game. He doesnt do much else and he could be equated to being only marginally worse than Shaun Udal. Either way he should have been playing from the start of the series.

Debunked? Hardly. Just because they're shuffling the chairs on the deck of the Titanic....

So the irony of all those guys being from NSW doesn't isn't registering? :p

Adelaide comes to mind.

The only difference is that this isn't England's batting and Krejza/White/Clarke/Katich collectively aren't a patch on Shane Warne.

At the start of the day, Australia were still very much in the game. Obviously, India are in the stronger position now after a wicket-less session, but no matter how bleak it may look, Australia have to win to retain the trophy. I don't see why they wont be doing all they can to try and win the game, even if those efforts are in vain.

Hauritz > White imo. At least he's been a "bowler" for the entirety of his career.

I don't reckon Krejza has been totally disasterous, but having him and White as 2/5 of your bowling attack is a bit of a nightmare. Especially when you add in Lee who is being expensive as well as not taking wickets.

Johnson has done okay-ish, but he's not going to run through the side. And Watson's job is basically to keep it tight while the others attack, but if no-one else is taking wickets and runs are flowing from the other end, that's not going to take wickets either.

To be honest, when Watto is your first-change bowler, mate, something is desperately wrong.

Aussie bowling looking castrated now. Sad to see an Aussie bowling the "Giles" line of negativity. Sums up imho. They are waiting and waiting for a mistake from the Indians, and nothing's happening. Ponting looks like a draw is the best option here.

I'm not saying they won't but Ponting leaving Krejza out to rot is just ridiculous.

Uninspiring stuff from ponting and negative bowling is making it worse

I think Gavaskar had logged into some site (could be CW) and seen how much of a negative opinion people has because of his jingoism in the box. So today, went ott to praise the Aussies for just being there on the field.

Congrats India. Well deserved series win.
Not yet. Australia can easily come back into this. It depends on their performance first up. If they match or exceed our first innings total, then it could be an easy matter of bowling India out.

Not just that, but one of your more threatening all tour. I love the bloke, he's good but he's not that good. Really he should be bowling 10-15 tight overs and nicking out a wicket or two.

That brand of pessimism can't be easy to maintain.
