According to MikeW, batting, apparently. When you're 1-0 down in the last Test of the series, it's always vitally important to pick a specialist #8 batsman, particularly when you haven't taken twenty wickets in any of the previous three Tests and said batsman averages 18.5 at Test level. Lee, Johnson and Krejza are all absolute rabbits of the highest order too so none of them could have coped with the rigors of batting #8 in a Test.Sorry, but forgot why Cameron White is in the team. If someone could remind me, that'd be tops.
what is wrong with you man... why would you bait people? 87out of 90 overs u do get tht right?=Six and half hours of cricket and only 87 overs. No wonder nobody watches.
India for sure.Who won this day?
Actually, India ended the day at 5/311 at Mohali too.Similar ending to Day1 like that to Mohali, then India were 315-5, today 311-5.
I reckon india they managed to bat out the whole day and if Dhoni and Ganguly can put on 50 - 100 then the tail wags a little they should be on at least 450 after 1 and a half days batting in a game that australia must win.Who won this day?
If White was batting like Watson this series and Watson like White, you could kind of understand.According to MikeW, batting, apparently. Yeah, I was thinking that too - though, at the point when India went 4 down it sure did seem like our day. Four days left, can't wait!India for sure.
Mmm, good summation - that's my prediction too.I reckon india they managed to bat out the whole day and if Dhoni and Ganguly can put on 50 - 100 then the tail wags a little they should be on at least 450 after 1 and a half days batting in a game that australia must win.
Aint no baiting. Stating fact. These guys have a big problem with someone calling a spade a spade.what is wrong with you man... why would you bait people? 87out of 90 overs u do get tht right?=
Not been watching NZ games, then?Clark vs White is possibly the worst selection decision I have ever seen.
I honestly can't think of anything I've ever seen at international level so completely daft. I'm not usually someone who complains about selectors at all, I understand the pull of domestic and ODI form, as well as incumbency, but I can't see a single justification for including White with Krezja also in the team, or for dropping Clark for any reason other than an injury. Not for form, either strong on White's part or poor on Clarks, incumbency, team balance, anything.
Australia don't need White's batting, or a second spinner, and Clark's both going to keep it tighter and be more likely to take wickets. And even if Clark is injured, others like Siddle and Bollinger are much more deserving.
Really, stunningly stupid.
India, however i would say that they're less big favourites now than they were just after they won the toss in my book.Who won this day?
Exactly.Clark vs White is possibly the worst selection decision I have ever seen.

You think then Australia will win this?Reckon Bhajji will love this deck and love the Aussie batsmen coming at him trying to force a win. Loving this Test match, so gutted there isn't a 5th. Would have loved a 1-1 going into a 5th at a place like Mumbai or Madras. Would've been epic.
EDIT: With the bounce we're getting on this this would've been the most ideal deck for Kumble all series.
