Nah but he's good for a chuckle.

Tbh, i think Krezja's been bowling as bad as anyone- definitely worse than Watson or Johnson. He's also been the most threatening, but that's only because of conditions and the fact that India are treating him with such contempt.

Really unhappy with Ponting's captaincy today too. He's far too willing to give runs away.
If only sideshowtim wasn't banned, he would be fuming at that AWS.

This is the flattest wicket of the series so far, so if Dada chucks his wicket away the Aussies would have a more than decent day...

"A rare blemish from Jason Krezja", says Mark Nicholas of the man who has just conceded 125 runs in 24 overs.
I know Krejza has been CW's favourite punching bag for a while now and even i have heavily criticised him, but you got to be fair to him as today he has bowled well he hasn't bowled many hit-me balls, by just looking at his bowling figure one might say that, but he has bowled in good areas and more importantly bowled in an attacking manner, Indian batsmen have just attacked him right from the outset and sometimes it has come of and sometimes it hasn't, but to Krejza' credit he hasn't bowled flat in order to be economical on the contrary he has kept on attacking and looking for wickets.

He's bowled loads of half-trackers and half-volleys. His excellent extra bounce has made him more threatening than most off-spinners, especially since the Indians haven't played him before. To be fair to him too, he should have had another wicket twice. But his control is quite shocking.

What kind of team has an erratic but threatening offie and an economic but blunt leggie?

Haha, Ponting can't win really. Gets hammered for being defensive whilst his bowlers were serving up dross in the first 3 tests. Now he's trying to be a little more aggressive, and leaking just as many runs, and he's being called out for being to willing to leak runs. I know he's not the greatest tactician, but people could at least be consistent in criticising him.

Ponting can be defensive if he likes. Take out a slip, put in a point. Give gully a miss and have a mid-wicket. Bowl a seamer outside off. Defensive tactics are fine if the batsmen are on top.

My problem is the amount of boundary sweepers he uses. They're not even saving runs, they just make the runs easier to get. Batsmen still hum along at 3.5-4 an over, only when the field's back they can do it without any risk. I don't even agree with it in the middle overs of an ODI. In a test match it's ridiculous.
