"A rare blemish from Jason Krezja", says Mark Nicholas of the man who has just conceded 125 runs in 24 overs.

Well done Sachin - got there with a little help from some terrible efforts in the Australian field, but good effort nonetheless, and being the first guy to get 40 100s is a massive achievement.

Don't like they way India approached their batting today, they have treated the Aussie bowlers quite callously and carelessly and that's resulted in atleast 3 out of the 4 dismissals being gifted and Tendulkar lucky with 2 dropped catches, limiting our chances of getting a big total. Its imperative we get atleast 450 otherwise Australia will still have a sniff in this match.
This has been something of a worry of mine for a while. If you notice, even when we are losing (ex. our recent tour of Sri Lanka), we play at an alarmingly fast rate. Generally, you would think the team that is behind in a test match, has to save it or fish themselves out of trouble, would play carefully and cautiously - instead we would consistently be scoring at above 3.5 or 4 runs an over. SL, on the other hand, even when winning played at a half-decent 2.8-3.2 an over and made sure they won. It's like our batsmen love to score boundaries and get easy runs which is a great thing, but when it dries up, we really throw our wicket away more than anything else.

Welcome to new age cricket, I suppose. :p Definitely can't have made life easy for the bowling team going for 5+ an over for a good chunk of the first session.

Something to consider, though, is the fact that India are 1-0 up in the series and it's the last Test. They probably won't push for a result unless there's no risk at all of them losing the game by doing so and for all the faults of the Australian bowling attack, they still have a great batting lineup and the pitch is still very flat.

Draw favourite for mine.
If India manage a 450+ score in this innings then they surely they can't lose the game from there, and considering there is plenty of help on this track for spinners, Australia would be right up against it, and i don't think hence India would even need to push anything to enforce a win, all they would need to do would be just play proper normal cricket and let the pitch do the rest.

Nobody takes him seriously do they?
Nah but he's good for a chuckle.

Tbh, i think Krezja's been bowling as bad as anyone- definitely worse than Watson or Johnson. He's also been the most threatening, but that's only because of conditions and the fact that India are treating him with such contempt.

Really unhappy with Ponting's captaincy today too. He's far too willing to give runs away.

Krejza's been better than Johnson today IMO.

40 test match tons, what a frickin' champion Sachin is.

Nothing more to be said about the man really.
