Bolton winning. This is looking like an exciting year at the bottom of the Premiership in the making, with the promoted teams all performing to varying extents, anyone could go down.

Dunne scores so many own goals, it's ****ing ridiculous.

EDIT: Hughes will be sacked before January.
Wonder who's scored more career own goals than regular goals. Frank Sinclair, perhaps.

EDIT: Just read, Jamie Carragher has scored as many goals for Spurs as he has for Liverpool.

Not a great result for many minions of CW, but I quite enjoyed it. Any thought of Man City actually becoming a force in football is too odd to be anything other then unsettling. Bolton are crap, yet we've become used to it this millennium. It's possible I'd miss then if they went down:unsure:

Anywhoo, have not talked much about Exeter's "should of been depressing, because it was so bad" 6-1 last Tuesday. This is partly because it was so clearly just a blip, and most of the sane fans were just laughing at the end. Seeing the likes of Lester and Ward tear us apart (almost literally in Ward's case8-) was, after all, the quality we've been missing by remaining in that arsehole division.

I stayed 'til the end, and I was one of the supporters singing and ululating when the final whistle went. A couple of boos in there, but quickly drowned out.
After,a,6-1,loss,ffs

Nah he'll be at United for at least another season. Can't pay so much for someone and sell them for peanuts or nothing at all in this situation.

Yeah I realise that, I was using him as an example of people willing to take the risk. Hargreaves doesn't have anywhere near the injury history that Saha had and with a proper rehab and off-season could and probably should be good as new, and I reckon some good clubs would be interested because he's a damn good player.

How reliable is goal.com really?, i haven't seen this Hargreaves news on any other major sports website just yet i.e BBC, Man Utd.com...

Was in the Mail as well tbf, though it does seem to go against a lot that was previously said by various people about the Hargreaves issue, I'd say it's reasonably reliable.

Yeah, in wages, didn't they still pay a fee though?
Surely Saha gets a base retainer each week, so with the amount of games he plays, he just gets more money in his weekly (or monthly or however they do it) pay packet? Otherwise what if wage bill needed to be trimmed, and board instruct David Moyes not to pick him for a while so they don't have to pay him?

I have no clue whatsoever as to how it all works.
