Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
End of an era, losing our greatest ever match winner. Sad to see him go out like this, hope we can win this series for him and Dada. Wow, at least he's smiling about it all now, must be a great weight off his shoulders.

What a legend.

Wow, yeah just heard that he has announced his retirement at the end of this match. On cricinfo, and on the radio.
Apparently he had a lot of stitches in the injured hand so wouldnt be available for the last test anyway

Anyway, great career and he goes out with dignity intact

Yeah, feel really sad. Pained really. What a legend, and a matchwinner he's been. The lone beacon in the darkest era of Indian bowling, the 90s.

Wow, this match just turned into a Twenty20, hopefully there's a twist in the tail. Katich should feed the strike to Hayden who hammers the quickies.

Great to see Kumble open the bowling, good time for Aussies to have a bit of a tee off and have some fun..

This is a mockery. Is it Test cricket or a scratch match? Kumble's retiring, big whoop, he just put his own needs above that of the game.
