I figure the low experience & power would hold him back against decent batting. The death overs seem a bit different - good primary/technique bowlers seem to be very restrictive then, even if the conditions don't help one iota. I'm sick of seeing a guy's finger spinner in my OD.1 division who on a bad day will go for 6 an over at the death and he starts off that spell at tired.
One game he went for 70odd and he conceded over 40 of that in the middle overs.

Playing against Jaffna Jets this Sunday, pretty happy that he chose a hard pitch so hopefully I won't have to face his spin attack. Unfortunately my pace bowlers are all crap so I'll probably be crushed.
Doing well overall this season. Coming second in T20 after a tie on tuesday, I can take the lead if I win next week. Coming second in YOD and I should take the lead the week after next, and I'll go SOD without a loss.

Won my T20 game against the first placed team today quite easily at his home ground (crumbling) by 46 runs. The ratings make me feel pretty smug too:

Posted 153 in our T20 batting first, mainly thanks to a wonderfully paced 70 odd from Johns. Started their innings, against arguably the most powerful top order in our league, and at the end of the 3rd over they were 4 down for 6 runs, and with a dropped catch coming in the 4th over. Going well tbh haha

Huntington recalled to the National Squad. Have had him on strength training for the past few weeks, will continue until he has reas power then put him back on bowling nets.
