NZ to bat for five overs and set Bangladesh 150 in a session.

Na, who am I kidding. How and Redmond to take the shine off then the umpires will offer the light.

I was hoping they would open with McCullum and Ryder. Get quickfire runs. Declare. Attemp to bowl the banga's out.

Looks like my hopes are dashed.

0-0 after 2 overs. We have our answer.

Bit disappointed.
What can you really expect them to do. There are only 45 overs left in the day, take 5 off that for the change-of-innings if New Zealand declared. Its just not enough time without making the target too easy for Bangladesh, especially given NZ are already 1-0 up.

How and Redmond haven't made a particularly good impression on this series yet - this is a good opportunity for them to get some Test runs under their belts. There's no chance of winning so I think this is the best option as such, even if it's not the best viewing.

Yeah probably...but How's just got out, so that hasn't worked.

Indeed, which makes How's dismissal all the more ridiculous

And I don't know why he just said "Fernando" like a schoolboy whose voice is on the cusp of breaking.

Yardley = Prize Tit; possibly a Great Tit.

Also whenever there's a crowd shot Yardley says "the stunning girls of Dhaka/Chittagong. Beautiful."

Dirty old man.

How disappointing from How on this tour. He looked so good on the England tour, but has played some atrocious shots on this tour, and generally has looked out of depth, which is a big worry.

Our batting lineup against Australia and India worries my tremendously.

At least the record is talking sense...

What a find pretty farcical in this game is that three days were lost to rain yet the players are still given 40 minutes for lunch. Surely they can have lunch in 15 minutes, its enough time for a **** and a banana. Bangladesh have done well to make a game of this but if they were having 15 minute lunches and six minute tea breaks, New Zealand could realistically have won a two day test match.
