Was so incredibly over at this point, the E totally blew it with regards to his character from pretty much this point on imo.
Pretty much blew it, but not entirely. I'd like to think that if he puts the mask back on (which is obviously what this storyline with Rey is leading to) then he'll have a shot at being that over once again. I, for one, will mark out madly for it.

FWIW, the Kane-a-roonie definitely goes on the list of classic RAW moments.

Smackdown wasn't too bad this week. The Undertaker vs Triple H match was really, really solid. One of the better TV matches in recent past, but that's to be expected when you put two of the greatest of all time in the ring together.

Good to see that it didn't have a clean finish either. This gives fans a bit of a preview of Undertaker and Triple H and doesn't determine a winner, while making Big Show and Kozlov look pretty strong. Good booking in all by WWE.

Kendrick and R-Truth continue to impress. However it must be said that MVP must be in real deep water. How many people job to Funaki?

That's two really great rising stars WWE has effectively killed off now. Mr Kennedy and MVP, both could've been World Champions very soon but now are both so insignificant in the WWE booking landscape.

He needs to lose some weight and get fit again as well. Kane was so over those days. Such a shame

This is also certainly one of Kane's greatest moments as well: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=GIDkU5FY8hw

This is another of those great Kane moments, excuse the poor quality, but the pop he get's as he comes out is immense. Miss the days when pops like that were common place, very rarely get such large ones these days even for the biggest stars.

Finally got round to watching the Jericho vs HBK ladder match, really enjoyed it, anything with these two in is generally amazing, but I thought that was probably the best 1 vs 1 ladder match I have seen since RVD vs Eddie. Very impressive stuff. And the bit where HBK goes to to deliver Sweet Chin Music and gets the ladder in the face was just awesome I thought.

Man the Radicals were so gun, Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero two of the best the business has ever seen and Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko were both extremely capable wrestlers. Such a high quality group, don't think we'll see anything of the sort for a long time

Great video. Kane was just so damn cool back then.

haha. Too Cool were so good as well
The thing is they actually made a very credible team. Their run with the tag team titles only lasted a month which was a great shame. And Scotty vs Dean Malenko for the light heavyweight title at Backlash 2000 was a great match. The E could have pushed them into a credible position instead of making them a comedy face team...not a huge loss....but the E could have done better with them imo.

Agreed. Rikishi was also a good addition as well. IMO, as well as being a comedy face team - They got some massive pops, Royal Rumble anyone?, they should have been pushed as a legitimate team. They were really up there in the spotlight back in the day and could have been pushed higher up as Too Cool provided both quality entertainment and laughs, and some good wrestling when they weren't being made to job.

Yeah, Scotty, ***ay and Rikishi all got genuine pops and were more than semi-decent in the ring. The E's attempt to push Rikishi into a major heel role with the Stone Cold run down angle failed terribly and all 3 of them suffered as a result. None of them would ever have made ME stars, that much was obvious, but all of them could have made succesful upper mid card performers had they been booked right (and in the case of ***ay stayed away from drugs).

Yeah there was no way any of them would be competing on Main Event status, but if they were managed correctly they could have bolstered the strength of the upper middle card, adding much needed depth imo

What happened to ***ay? Rikishi is in Japan now isn't he?

Wow, WWE is soo soo dead to me right now. Triple H kicks out of a twist of fate and swanton again and Jericho looks like a major league bitch to Batista. Honestly they can **** off right now.

Freaking Batista. Why on earth would you want to take the title of Jericho. It could've been one of the greatest heel title reigns in recent history.

No surprises with Triple H and Batista ruling the roost again. All the great work WWE did over the last few months just went down the drain. We're back to being as stale as we were in 2006.

Horrified by last night, TBH. There was so much potential for good things to happen last night, but Batista and his backstage whinging about not being over enough won out in the end.

I have less of a problem with Triple H - firstly because he's about a million times more talented than Batista, and secondly because this is all leading to him finally dropping the belt to Jeff at WrestleMania. Batista going over Jericho, however, is inexcusable. Jericho is the WWE's MVP right now, and there's just no good reason to take the belt off him.

My god, what a ****ing mess, absolute ****e, way to ruin the best heel in the company, dire.

Barring my trip to see Smackdown I very much doubt i'll be paying much attention to the E from now on for a good while, so ****ing awful.

I don't watch wrestling anymore, but my God you people. Every single one of you posts that they'll never watch WWE again after such and such was put over such and such.

But guess what you'll be doing next week? Watching RAW. ****ing fanboys.

***ay made a comeback a few years ago, didn't last long, thing he got fired for drug problems again.

Rikishi went to TNA for a while but no-showed a few times and left the company after a handful of TV appearances, and yeah I think he works in Japan now. Shame about him really, for a big guy he was pretty mobile and pretty decent in the ring.

Nah, I'll still read the spoilers but I've gone months on end without ever tuning into a show if I wasn't impressed with how it reads.

If Edge is back next week, you're right I will watch but not RAW for a long long time.

Am seriously hoping Edge is back, only 2 weeks till Rubble and I go to the live show, and if he's not there then it will be a huge dissapointment.
