And Ian Dowie parts company with QPR.

Not sure what it is with this guy, but he seems to struggle to stay in a job for any length of time despite seemingly being a competent coach.
I found it mildly bizarre, I have to say. The R's are currently ninth in the table & still in the League Cup.

More to the sacking than on-pitch performances for mine.

Couldn't face the prospect of being humiliated on Sky this evening

Glad to get a point from it. Can hopefully resurect the season from now on with a positive result.

Jeez, if there is a winner between Liverpool and Chelsea then they go 9 points ahead of United.

Will be 0-0, though, IMO

Looking grim for Newcastle.

Wonder what the odds are of me getting to see both Newcastle & Tottenham at PP next year? Would obviously need to involve us upping our home form, but I certainly won't be writing it off. :D

It's a lovely thought - almost worth avoiding promotion for but ...................... nah .....I'll leave 'em for Tranmere - mind you give them a hiding though

Fans on the pitch at the Stadium of Light, apparently Sunderland hadn't beaten the Geordies at home for 28 years.

Think they did them at St James' more recently though, the game that Gullit left Shearer on the bench for.

Apparently Phil Neville upset his former team-mates during the game earlier today, meanwhile that bright lad Wayne Rooney kissed his United badge in front of the blue****e fans. What a great player, what a ****.

TBH, it's a pre-requisite when you join United to become a ****. In the contract.

Anyway, another good day for Neil, he's becoming our lucky charm.

Automatic promotion place, football's fairly good at the mo, has to be said:wub:

Mattie Gill, Mattie Gill, Mattie Mattie Gill

I've never heard that sung, ever.

We played some awesome football at times today but the end product wasn't always there - Stanno should have had two in the first half and Gill's came when the keeper parried Watson's shot back to him. Last few minutes were a bit nervy - but we were value for the points.

Next is home to Chesterfield next Tuesday. Quite fancy that one too. Won't be washing my trousers between now and then, whatever.

I know, I just made it up today after he scored, funny what nerves will do when your listening to the radio, and praying we'll hold on.

To be fair, it wouldn't often have been apposite before this season.

Haha Hull 3 - 0 West Brom and they are ATM top of the Premiership.

Obviously they will drop off in the next few months, but still good on them.
