Depends on the individual, obviously. When I was 20 I was having loads of fun, when I was 18 I was just a kid who happened to have adult rights.

Being a September birthday, my entire 18th year was spent at college.

Which was brilliant in one way and perhaps lesser in another.

I still regard myself as little more than a kid with adult rights TBH, never been any big pivotal change. I still feel exactly the same now as I did after finishing college.
