The Wheel is Forever
Absolutely loved the BLee-Ponting argument. It's always easy to be 'mentally tough' and praise 'teamwork and selflessness' when you're winning.
the series isn't over yet and writing off the aussies would be a serious mistake...Zaheer Khan will be chuckling. His remark that Australians are incapable of taking 20 wickets has come true.
So true. The absence of the usual "messing the hair" celebrations at the fall of a wicket by the Aussies was stark.Absolutely loved the BLee-Ponting argument. It's always easy to be 'mentally tough' and praise 'teamwork and selflessness' when you're winning.
There was a player who said he was only one phone call awayZaheer Khan will be chuckling. His remark that Australians are incapable of taking 20 wickets has come true.
Not when a certain S R Tendulkar is still playing. There was a player who said he was only one phone call away

G'day its Warney here
Hayden's was a great decision tbh. Just heard about this Ponting-Lee. Intrigued to see how this pans out.Lets be honest the Hayden dismissal was very doubtful the Hussey dismissal was a shocking shot
Not sure where the Aussies have their head atm
Anyway is there any footage of the Ponting - Blee argument?
They keep talking about it on Foxsports but they don't seem to have any footage
Exactly.I can't see them dropping Lee because he had a spat with Ponting. If they had the same chat 5 minutes later in the shed, we'd be none the wiser.
Certainly Ponting should have told him why he wasn't bowling at that time, but I'd be surprised if their relationship was untenable after that.
Yeah, one can understand that, but a spat on the ground in front of the opposition is not exactly the epitome of teamwork and harmony.Exactly.
To suggest that it's all sweetness and light among team mates and that these types of spats never happen in the dressing room or back at the hotel is somewhat naïve
How was that series even a fiasco. Wasn't the score 2-1?it all comes to fore again that the so called famed aussie batsmen "CANNOT play reverse swing--- nada...zip....
a repeat of 2005 ashes fiasco
Guess that happens when the opposition is effectively 3/516Yeah, one can understand that, but a spat on the ground in front of the opposition is not exactly the epitome of teamwork and harmony.
Yes, Just watched it again. Struck in the line of off stump. Good decision. Initially I thought it hit outside the line.Hayden's was a great decision tbh. Just heard about this Ponting-Lee. Intrigued to see how this pans out.
If that was the case, he wouldn't even be taking grade poles.I don't think he is 'mentally' fit for Test cricket. I'm not so much talking about mental strength as knowing what to do. In ODI cricket, you can get away with your two lengths and raw pace, but Tait needs to think up a plan for Test cricket, because he currently does not have the stamina with his action to keep up the intensity for a day nor does he seem to know what he is doing.
