C'mon Mishra, stop tying Siddle in knots and just get him out:).

EDIT: Thanks Mishy - Siddle out stumped and Mishra gets five!!!

Wouldn't mind at all if Lee found the right line consistently for at least one spell this test match :(

Ah the forum is back on. I'm struggling to see a way back for the Aussies in this one. If India hold it together then they should be able to set the Aussies a WR chase and have plenty of time to bowl them out.

I would never write that Aussie batting line-up off mind you.

I realise we have a plan to be very disciplined in India like in 04 with the batting, but I think we're taking it a bit too far TBH. Not saying reckless strokeplay is the way to go, but to see blokes like Haddin and Clarke taking umpteen balls to potter singles I think detracts from their own games and succeeds in plaing them out of form.

Well bowled to Mishra and WD Watto. Having made the comment about being too slow, his was a gutsy innings in tough circumstances.

Siddle's shot was rubbish and I hope his papers are marked NTPA on tour. Was anything said about why he was supposed to be ahead of Dougie for this match?

There is no chance of the Aussies chasing down whatever India set them to chase, i think Ponting would be more than happy to see his team get out of Mohali with a draw.

P.S: How ****ty has Lee been on this tour so far, has not looked threatening at all.

And here are Gavaskar and Border on the tv telling us how Australia have to stay aggressive. Two of the most conservative captains in cricket history. AB only ever declared at customs.
And we have Brendan Julian commentating here - him providing comments about these two teams is like interviewing the janitor at Los Alamos for an explanation about how the A Bomb was put together. Doesn't know **** from his elbow.

Probably right, but if the bowling can click and get India to collapse then there is a small chance.

I can remember BJ going on a rant about how he couldn't for the life of him figure out why Tait was left at home. Seems like a good bloke but is a bit clueless isn't he?

Don't think Bollinger bowls with the correct arm of something.
Top theory isn't it.

"Well, one of our two best bowlers is out. The next bloke in line has been on two A tours in the past 12 months to the sub continent, taken wickets at will here and the other bloke has only played one game here at FC level". "Yeah, but the front runner doesn't bowl with the same arm as the bloke who's injured". "You're right. We won't pick him".

This test proves the long-held theory that no Australian team with two or more Victorians in it can be expected to perform well away from the MCG.
