Nope

Both Hussey and Dhoni decisions were questionable but I can understand why the umps decided the way they did

However, there is zero doubt that Ganguly was out and cost Oz 60 runs off his bat alone plus would've exposed the tailon day one
Why were they both questionable? One hit a foot outside the line and the other caught Hussey dead in line and on the crease.

Clarke has a history of getting out towards the close of play. Will be very surprised if he's there at stumps. Looks like he's working himself out of form as well, seems a while since he creamed off that ton effortlessly in the WI.
Called it.

Hmm, I do think Clarke needs to be dropped. Seems like he's starting to be given the silver spoon with the vice captaincy and time off the team would only benefit him and make him hungrier. Same applies to Johnson.

Mishra you beauty! Very good ploy to go around the wicket and bowl the googly when the batsman was always going to defend and expect a ball pitched outside leg.

Mishra looks a real talent. Even when Kumble goes we'll have a Test quality leggie waiting.

Said it before and I'll say t again - Clarke is extremely talented and extremely soft

That shot was almost as bad as it was predictable

I mean what the hell is wrong is with Clarke, this guy can't take the pressure of playing of playing the last over of the day, so what the hell is he doing playing test cricket, toughen up mate, because its about ****ing time.

You'd drop Johnson after being are best bowler of the series so far and Clarke after averaging 59 in the last two years?

Yes particularly Johnson because 2 OK innings doesn't not make up for 20 innings of utter tripe. Its blatantly obvious that he's been given a free ride with performances at state or international level to warrant selection. You see players like Hussey and Clark in the team who had to work quite hard for years and years in the domestic circuit and have only been recently (relatively) been given opportunities. Seriously a couple of years at domestic level would do him a world of good, make him appreciate it more and work harder. Same principle applies to life, the trials make you a better person.

Dhoni told him to do so after bowling 4 deliveries...I could hear it through stump mike...

I'd agree before this Test and was annoyed he wasn't dropped in the WI but currently it'd be absurd.

Heard Dhoni on the stump mic saying to Mishra in Hindi to bowl around the wicket to Clarke as he will pad up. Big credit to Dhoni for suggesting the move and big credit for Mishra for bowling so well today and trapping Clarke plumb in front.

Terrific captaincy by Dhoni. I'd be happy if he takes over from Kumble as test captain. On the whole, Ishant and Zaheer getting the ball to reverse swing so early was fantastic. Mishra was really impressive too and I'm glad they went ahead with him instead of Piyush Chawla for this series.

Hoping we can take advantage of Australia's relative inexperience in their middle to lower order.
