Just to reply, I reckon Ganguly's going to get about 80 odd runs and Dhoni's going to come good today and make a half century. Harbhajan and Zaheer to pitch in with about 20 odd runs each and Mishra to chip in with about 10 odd to lift us past 450.

Australia collapse to 5/60 in reply with Hayden still in. Forms rearguard action with tail. After a 100 run partnership with Haddin we lose a few quick wickets before Siddle combines with Hayden in an unbeaten 300 run partnership. Siddle remains not out on 285 while Hayden throws his wicket away with a silly shot down legside that sees a top edge fly to long on. He's out for 125.

It would be nice if Ganguly could hit a 100 in his final series .... a good opportunity awaits him on day 2. with some support from the other end and some luck, he can do that

with the crucial session coming up, i m hoping for some sensible cricket from India. play the balls on the merit and take things as they come .... if we can put on a big total, i think we have the bowling to take 20 wkts in this game

the interesting thing that I find abt the Indian attack is the variety amongst the 4 specialists

Zak - left-arm fast
Ishant - right-arm fast
Bhajji - offie
Mishra - leggie [proper]

with Dhoni at the helm, I guess that the bowling resources will be used in a street smart way .... i am not watching the game live as it starts at 12 am here so don't know how the pitch is shaping up but would like to know if anyone has any info on when [IF] it is suppose to start breaking?
