Nominate a Player to Join the Academy

The WCC Academy will be launched in the coming weeks and again this season you have the option of sending one of your youngster's there.
This season will see a similar format to last year however the competition will be longer.

Your player will be guaranteed 16 matches in each form of the game, as per last season their stats will be improved in academy play and they will substantially better than the non wcc players. You may send any player in your squad that has less than 40 career games in at least one form of the game OR any player that is 26 years old or younger.

When nominating a player you may also request what sort of a role you would like your player to play, e.g bat at number 4 or open the bowling, or bowl first change etc...

You will have around one week to pick a player before I finalise squad lists.

Keep in mind your player will be unavailable to play in your WCC team while he is at the academy, due to the length of the competition they would be expected to be missing for around 6-8 WCC matches.

Wouldn't mind him having a few goes up the order as a bit of a pinch hitter but not phased either way.

C Hartley is a wicket keeper. He opens the batting.

Yeh he should bowl, batsmen who have bowling stats have their OPM increased at the academy to increase their chances of bowling. obviously if there are 5 or more players in the team with more OPM he probably wont bowl much, unfortunately I cant control that.
