Kumble is Injured. Anyone who has watched RP & Munaf in last 1 year or so will know that Munaf is easily the better option (as a bowler) right now. In any case it is Amit Mishra who has replaced Kumble not Munaf.

I guess your disappointment is about losing the toss. Well it can be an advantage as Mohali pitch and Climate can really help the fast bowlers in the first session and 2 inning of the test(Day 2-3) is usually the best period for batting. So I expect Australia to take a first inning lead in the test.

And its not like they are in a position to take advantage of a 4th day pitch with virtually zero spin options.

IMO it was a good Toss to lose for Ponting and his men.

I think if there is a bit of a life in the pitch then bowling first on it won't be that bad a thing, if Aussie bowlers bowl well in the first hour of the game, then they might just make serious inroads into the Indian batting line-up (given the pitch has some assistance for fast bowlers).
