think there is a minimum must for the game to continue..who ever may the bowlersPlainly the vicious pace and bounce of White and Clarke constitute a risk to the batsmen's safety.
Greatest blight on the game that rule. Can understand it if there are quicks bowling, but not two spinners.
Edit: should say I don't blame the batsmen for taking it BTW, just it's a dud rule. Reckon unless there's a safety concern, it should be play on within reason.
Hussey was a bit of a positive too IMO.Fair effort to say Sachin Tendulkar is your first ever test wicket, well done to White.
As I expected though, match turned out to be a draw (or should I say, will have, can't see them coming back out). Whilst the pitch was giving uneven bounce, if the Batsmen got in, they were always going to be hard to get out. Couldn't see Tendulkar etc. falling over twice, easily on this pitch.
Ponting, Johnson, Watson, Katich & Haddin the positives for Australia (Guess you could add Whites 2nd innings bowling to that as well by the sounds of it). Clarks elbow is a concern though.
WordIn my opinion, you shouldn't give anyone a choice. There should be a limit by law. If it's dangerous (for fielders or batsmen), you go off. If its not, you play.
Obvs, but afaic, it was no great surprise. The others had doubts (too a certain extent)Hussey was a bit of a positive too IMO.
think the boards have to agree on that at the start of the series.and as it is think they didn't do that ..one reason could be kanpur dont have flood lightsThey can't use the artificial lights now in gloomy conditions??
