Mark Waugh, Taylor and Warne formed a tremendous slip cordon and Tubby was an excellent slipper no two ways about that, but i am taking about Haydos' catching technique, he has got fantastic hands and great catching footwork for a bloke of his size, some of the catches he has taken have been truly extraordinary, and he has made all those catches look very simple.

Yeah but Haydos is just such a good fielder anywhere you put him, even in the outfield. He's taken to slip fielding pretty well, though, but it's been a fairly recent transformation. Tubs, despite being a slug and having a dud arm managed to take just about everything that came his way. The better slipper over a longer period of time but if Haydos does it for the rest of his career, he'll be rightly regarded as one of the better ones we've had.
