Yeah, hopefully kicked back into some sort of form tbh, didn't really see the changes Wenger promised though, apart from Nasri coming back in, nice to see Vela get a run out as a sub as well.

Few dodgy moments early on, but once we got the 2nd it was as good as over. Must be rare for a game to have absolutely no added time in either half tho, even if it was a mercy killing at the end.

1 from 48.

Thats how many points we've taken from away games in the group stages of the Champions League. It's amazing.

Failing to beat Aalborg at home is now looking like it will be extremely costly tbh, would still back Celtic to somehow get through though, reckon they will beat Villareal at home, and beating taking 4 points off Man Utd whilst unlikely is not impossible.

I reckon we'll have beat Villarreal and Utd at home, and then beat Aalborg away. That gives us 10 points which should be enough to get through. Normally I'd be fairly confident about beating the two bigger teams at home, but after drawing with Aalborg I'm not so sure any more.

Would strongly back you to beat Villareal at home, it's the exact kind of fixture that Celtic always in....the Man Utd games will be crucial, unforttunately losing either of them would probably see you go out....as I say, beating them is not impossible at home....but I wouldnt bet on it. Aalborg away should be a win though yes.

Polish football federation toppled; Euro 2012 in danger

Itstl. Possibly the strongest challenge yet to FIFA's "football should govern itself" dictum. Given the record of Polish football (endemic racism, corruption, crowd trouble) and the fact that Poland's government is using the Euro to boost infrastructure (and probably bankrolling stadiums) they presumably want to make sure their investment is in the hands of half-decent administrators.
The funny thing is, that a lot of the Polish people who would of been hired to build the stadia have buggered off to England, so therefore they have to hire Ukrainians, who are cheaper still, leaving Ukraine with a skilled workers crisis. That is not begin with that the fact that is a bloody mission and a half to take the train from Ukraine to Poland.
