The funny thing is, that a lot of the Polish people who would of been hired to build the stadia have buggered off to England, so therefore they have to hire Ukrainians, who are cheaper still, leaving Ukraine with a skilled workers crisis. Itstl. Possibly the strongest challenge yet to FIFA's "football should govern itself" dictum. Given the record of Polish football (endemic racism, corruption, crowd trouble) and the fact that Poland's government is using the Euro to boost infrastructure (and probably bankrolling stadiums) they presumably want to make sure their investment is in the hands of half-decent administrators.
