New Zealand's new uniform

Hmm not impressed, the existing ODI strip is far superior IMO. My first thoughts were that it reminded me of the Scottish rugby jersey (with the dark blue coloured black).

This reminds me of when Australia changed their uniform a few years ago. Like other people have said, why would you bother changing it if there is nothing wrong with it? Its not the worst uniform I've seen but the old uniform was definitely better.
All countries change their uniforms with a fair amount of regularity (think it's generally roughly once every 2 years or summat). Don't really know why - you won't attract any remotely significant audience because of what kit you're wearing.

Money. Keep making different kits, fans will keep buying them to have the latest one. Know of a few people who buy the latest and greatest All Black merchandise after every minor change.

Well football clubs have a regular turnover of strips so that people go out and buy the latest replica jersey. Problem is, cricket doesn't do jersey sales anywhere near comparable to make it that profitable for regular changing.

EDIT: Or what NZTE said.

The one Chris Martin's wearing here doesn't look too bad, hope that's the home strip.

TBH I got the new one-day kit this summer. Got the Test whites for the first time as well. Just a sucker for such merchandising, itbt
