Only if the situation allowed him (test wise).Gilly did too.

Gilly still used some brains while doing that, but Ronchi seems to bat in Afridi mode in every form of the game.Gilly did too.
You obviously watched a lot of Gilchrist in test cricket then.Gilly did too.
I remember mentioning earlier in this thread that Watling was a good bowler and had cleaned me up a couple of times in the nets(he plays for my club), then someone dismissed it as irrelavant because they said Guptill is also a quality bowlerInteresting to see Watling get a bowl and take a couple of wickets...he has never bowled a ball in FC or List A cricket in his life!
Did Guppy get a bowl? That's unusual. He actually swings it both ways quite a bit.they said Guptill is also a quality bowler
He bowls sharp skiddy balls which in-swing like crazy
Guptill isn't playing mate.Did Guppy get a bowl? That's unusual. He actually swings it both ways quite a bit.

The Kiwis, who were given a good start by Aaron Redmond (51), struggled to build on it as they lost three wickets in a hurry before skipper Peter Fulton (26 batting) and James Marshall (20 batting) steadied the innings with an unbroken 41-run stand for the fourth wicket.
Opener Watling was unlucky as Redmond's straight drive hit the non-striker's stumps via bowler Amit Mishra's fingers and he was caught short of the crease.
Soon after, Redmond, on completing his half-century, drove leg-spinner Mishra uppishly to be caught at covers by Yusuf Pathan, and then Greg Hey departed, castled by Mishra who was the pick of the Indian bowlers claiming two wickets.
Fulton, who was dropped by skipper Suresh Raina in the slips off Mohnish Parmar, batted cautiously as did Marshall as the pair set about repairing the damage.
