Yeah, just a shame there's been play lost today - means they're more likely to get 450ao off 110 overs than 550-6dec off 140.Rich to be pleased as Middlesex cartin Northants everywhere. Strauss has tonned up (Y)
Thanks Fred. I've just been preparing for, and fighting, a trial. So caught up in it today that I didn't manage to keep up with the cricket scores. Delighted to see the scores at close of play though!Good to see you back Mr Z - have you been at the labour party conference?
*facepalms*You'll be on your Jack Jones if you do - they're all down in Zummerzet
Imagine if he was on an electric chair and they asked for his final statement? I'd bring pillows and a bloody good book tbhI didn't want clarification, I wanted him to repeat it as to rule out that his brain has finally exploded; leaving one final incoherant message of anti-Harmisonism on CW as its dying wish.

Apparently the Titans made a last minute deal with Hampshire (presumably they got some money out of the club). Hampshire although kept the news extremely quiet even the though the deal was done days previously because they hoped Notts would prepare a wicket which assisted their spinners (Swann, Patel), thinking Tahir was in South Africa playing a 20/20 friendly against the Blue Bulls.Imran Tahir does play in Hampshire's final game after all.
And a whole host of faces who haven't been seen since early season (and in a couple of cases not at all this year) also turn-out. Interesting finish to the Championship.
Still Kevin Dean can't get a game for Derbyshire though. You wonder what someone at the club currently has against him, you really do.
No offense intended, tongue was firmly in cheek.ITSTL.
That seems to be the popular option with the Sussex faithful. I haven't been able to see much of his bowling (only the televised pro-40 shootout v Notts) but he's apparently been bowling fast and with movement. He wouldn't be the first player that has turned his career around at Sussex.Been an impressive little stint by Mohammed Sami at Sussex. Hopefully the club signs him up for next season.
