Why so much hate for Hulk he recreated modern wrestling with Vince and plus he has a hot daughter who I believe has a potential to do a Paris Hilton.

Doesn't change the fact that she's got a face like a bulldog licking piss off a thistle tbh

Just watching the opening of Raw now. Amazing, just amazing. There is absolutely nobody in the entire wrestling world who is better than Jericho at the moment.

I'm such a mark for Shane O'Mac I swear to god, love the man so much. Looks like he's going to be a face for the time being as well which is great 'cause I get to cheer him for once :D

Good RAW last night, only problem for me was Cryme Tyme not picking up the win against Miz and Morrison.

Lance Cade getting the pinfall over HBK for the win was huge, way to put him over just as he was beginning to look a bit weak.

Nice to see Evan Bourne on RAW again this week, but pleased that Kane beat him, badly needed to get some sort of credibility going into No Mercy.

Interesting interview with Kurt Angle re: TNA in the Sun this week, looks like he shares the feelings of a lot of fans/would be fans. Be interesting to see how TNA deal with this sort of behaviour from one of their major stars, were this sort of thing to come out from someone working in the WWE they would be in real **** with Vince, but I bet someone like Angle in TNA can get away with it.

Kurt Angle was interviewed this week by the UK Sun and spoke at length about what he feels is wrong with today's TNA product. The highlights: TNA Gimmicks and Match Stipulations: "Being in TNA is exciting and frustrating at the same time. We’ve been doing a good job but what we need to do right now is to simplify things. We get a little bit too complicated with our gimmick matches and run-ins. I’ve spoken to the bookers, writers and owners of TNA and said: “Listen. Wrestling is very simple, keep it simple." TNA's "King of the Mountain" Match: "You have to put the belt on the hook, but before you do that you have to pin somebody. If you get pinned then you end up in the penalty box. When you get out the penalty box you’re still eligible to win as long as you pin somebody and then put that belt up on the hook. It’s like holy s***, it’s too f***ing confusing." Why TNA Overindulges in Gimmicks: "TNA do it because we want to be different from WWE and innovative. But what happens is sometimes we are, but then sometimes we are too old school. Let’s face it, a tar and feather match today wouldn’t go over too well. But we’ve actually done that. That’s a 1960’s match, this is 2008. We’re in an MMA world. Fans want to see mano a mano. One on one. Let’s go at it. We call ourselves Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. We say: “TNA – we are wrestling.” No we’re not. We’re f***ing gimmick matches." TNA Protecting Talent: "At the last PPV, No Surrender, we had a triple threat main event between me, Christian Cage and Samoa Joe. We had a great match, but Samoa Joe won because Jeff Jarrett came in and hit me with a guitar. I would have won if Jeff didn’t do that. I believe that Joe should have kicked my ass and Christian’s ass and won straight up and then afterwards Jeff could have come in or even waited until the next night on TV and attacked me. I’m trying to make our younger guys more popular. I let AJ beat me the last four times we wrestled for a reason. To make him a bigger star. I wanted Joe to beat me and Christian at the PPV to make him a bigger star. But what’s been happening is we have run-ins to create the wins, so I get protected. I don’t want to be protected and I don’t need to be protected. I’m having a real struggle with it. We need to back up and realize who we are and what we’re trying to get across. We have the best wrestlers in the world, WWE can’t compare. But how do we use them to our advantage? By simply wrestling, because that’s what they’re good at."

Kurt Angle hits the nail on the head with all points.

I remeber watching one of the early king of mountin matches it was PPV's only in the UK so had no build up to the match and didn't have a clue what was happening ended up turning the channel 10 mins in.

Yeah, King of the Mountain is pretty dire, though in fairness to TNA their matches don't usually (not in my experience anyway) get more complicated than that. Though the match where the belt is hung above the ring and you aren't allowed to use a ladder to pull it down is another example of this stupidity.

Just watched RAW again, really really good episode all round I thought, couldn't find any fault with it.

The way Cade picked up the win in the ME really intrigues me though....am thinking that there may be a face turn somewhere down the line for him. Doubt the creative team have thought this far ahead...but my imediate thoughts would be for Jericho to beat HBK and then Beat the winner of JBL/Batista and then have Cade turn face and feud with him....possible.

That said, HBK losing clean to someone who we have hardly seen in a match for several months now doesn't make him look great going into a high profile match...But I really hope they don't waste this huge boost they have given Cade here, the guy looks the business and has enough wrestling ability to make a credible main eventer imo.

Hbk is so over no loss will hurt his credibility. Putting Cade over was a good move as he's been made to look like a bitch for years now. My issue is a win over a guy that big is that it's so much more effective when he's been built up for a reasonable amount of time.

Watched Smackdown for tonight and must say it was a pretty meh show for the most part. Really looking forward to Shelton v Truth, the pop he got today was excellent and Shelton's heel promo had a lot to do with that.

Also was looking forward to Kozlov v Khali but shoudl've known Triple H would somehow interfere.

This Show v Taker feud is really bad. Really really bad.

SmackDown thoughts, once again written as I watch:

- Opening tag match was pretty good. Glad to see they're keeping up the habit of having Ezekiel actually affect matches, and having other superstars act like they're a bit scared of him. He's almost been totally keep out of physical interaction with other guys so far, which is great as it makes him look more bad-ass than just to have him beat up guys left, right and centre like Khali or someone. It's one thing being big and strong, another being bad-ass. Also, I like the fact that Kendrick's theme music has had lyrics added to it. It's little things like that that help a guy get over. There's a hook in the middle of it that they could probably remix his music to use at the beginning, too - where it goes "...I'm a man with a plan!" - little things like an instantly recognisable sound or hook at the beginning of your music can make all the difference.
- Great to see how over Shelton is as a heel these days. It's really encouraging that he's been given so much time on the mic recently - he's not been giving any outstanding promos, but at least he's kept them short and sweet. Hopefully a feud with R-Truth will kick-start Killings' career on SmackDown and provide Shelton more room to grow.
- I love R-Truth's entrance. It's so much fun. Can't wait to see it live. Amusing that he and Shelton seem to be wearing the same clothes, too.
- Amusing to hear some "Khali! Khali!" chants during the match against Kozlov. The guy's got potential as a comedy face, so here's hoping that if they turn him face, they do it right. Disappointing to hear Triple H's music hit about two minutes into the match, to be honest. Although it was hilarious to see him gear up as if to swing the sledgehammer full tilt at Khali as he lay on the floor, only for Khali to duck out of the ring. Would love him to take a full golf-club swing at someone one day, and not with a rubber hammer like that shot to the back of Big Show's head eight years ago.
- Yes, this Undertaker-Big Show shtick is terrible. Big Show was way over as a face, and now they've cut his legs out from under him and stuck him with the usual generic big guy bollocks. We've seen Undertaker-Big Show a thousand times in the past, so why bother with it again? Why not hold off on Big Show for a few more weeks until Umaga's back, and then push an undoubtedly very good Big Show-Umaga feud? Or Umaga-Undertaker? Or Big Show-MVP, or Big Show-Kendrick, or anything else. Just not this again.
- Intrigued by the possibility of a Chavo face turn. I've always thought that the fact that he's a Guerrero would probably get him over pretty well as a face. We'll see, I guess. Interesting that Chavo finished his match with the Rolling Liger Kick, as Tazz called it. Add another finisher to his growing list, I guess.
- MORE HURRICANE HELMS! :D
- Unfairly big pop for Jimmy Wang Yang's return to TV. There are guys with better gimmicks who've never been close to as over as that. Do like the guy though, he's talented.
- Enjoyed reliving, via video recap, the sight of Festus chasing Hawkins and Ryder away last week, while wielding a palm tree as a weapon.
- The Colóns are gonna make interesting Tag Champions. Far more interesting than the two non-entities, anyway.
- Tazz: "Tell you what, that bubble wrap, it always gets a pop." Love Tazz.
- Think the ending, with Vickie getting Tombstoned again, is a way of writing her off TV so they can bring Edge back hassle-free. Wouldn't be at all surprised if Edge returned to interfere in the WWE Championship Match at No Mercy.

Smackdown was pretty dull this week. Regardless, there was some good stuff but no where near as good as it was a few weeks ago. The Big Show vs Undertaker feud is absolutely brutal and should not have happened. Raw this week was the better show with Jericho being the main driving force behind Raw's awesomeness.

Impact this week was pretty good too. I'm intruiged with the way this Old Stars vs New Generation storyline is going. Specifically where the likes of Christian Cage and Mick Foley will fit into this.

Smackdown needs Edge badly. Agreeing with Barney that hearing those Khali chants made me lol big time.

And having a finisher named after Liger is very awesome.
