International Coach
Well, you dont exactly expect to go to Anfield and walk it, was impressed with Berbatov, did all he could do with little service, set up the goal, gave some worry to liverpool defence. Midfield didnt exist, hate it when our defence just lump the ball back to the opposing defence every time, sure sign our heads are down and were not getting back into it, our best moments came from passing through towards the box/corners. Decision to keep Rooney on the right was a shocker, even more so when Nani came on, completely out of hte game, and it allowed Liverpool to just stroll down the left.

Twas a game where the goals came from mistakes, shouldnt have lost, but Liverpool can feel justified with the result, were the better team, but didnt make much untill already leading

Meh. We've been dominating teams for years & not scoring enough to make games safe. Doesn't win titles.
Not today. 2-0 my ass. Roberts has caused Gallas and Toure all kinds of problem and the Arsenal midfield seems to be a little bit 'scared' of Andrews and Rovers 'physicality'. Was a top half of football aside from those two 'anomalies' as well. Will probably lose 5-0 now.

But Carrick was playing...Wasn't he? (didn't even know he was on the field until he 'limped off')...

Was an enjoyable game though and Ryan Babel making Wes Brown look like a **** was the icing on the cake. :)

Seriously, Carrick did **** all before he limped off (and Man U were never playing that 'well' anyhow). As I said earlier, I didn't even know he was playing until he was replaced.

Can't make you see it if you don't want to.

Can't believe I'm going to say this, but I agree with the Manure fans:unsure:

The fact is United bossed the midfield with carrick in the side, they were second-best in there without. I must admit I didn't see him do much myself, but anyone that actually goes to watch matches will know that running off the ball and interceptions aren't always noticeable, and it seems Carrick works well as a foil for others. Anderson & Mascereno's (brilliant and poor in fist, reversed in second) respective halves seem to show he was having an effect.

To much more important matters, really don't think Tully and Moxey can play as full-backs in 4-4-2, neither great defensively, you may be able to get away with one, but not both against the better oppo of this division.

International Debutant
Fairytale debut for Robinho but lead only lasts a couple of minutes. Would put the cat among pidgeons if City could win today.
