*Official* English Football Season 2008-2009

Aye, has to earn the right to play and SWP and Petrov have done nothing to suggest being dropped.
Now I'm not saying Robinho definitely should play, as I said a couple of days ago I have my reservations, but it doesn't matter if the other wingers have done nothing to deserve being dropped. You pick your 11 best players to win the game, and if there is someone else who is clearly better than those two (be that Robinho or not) then he must be played.

Play three at the back, Dunne has no pace but Richards and Kompany are lightning and then you can accomdate a top heavy midfield. Personally, I wouldn't have Robinho and SWP in the same team for both players are complete lightweights.

Don't have that much evidence to suggest he's that much better than SWP and Petrov myself

And why on earth change a winning team no matter how good other guys are supposed to be?

Well his better than SWP, there is another evidence to suggest that for at least Robinho has had his moments in the big time. SWP did sweet FA for Chelsea and looks like a player who excels in smaller ponds. Though, Petrov has suprisingly been very good for Citeh considering his lost at least a yard of pace.

Imo leaving a £30m player on the bench is a pretty ridiculous move whether or not the other players in the side deserve to be dropped or not.

Paying £30m for someone to sit on the bench may not be best for the team in this instance I'd suggest.

Naaaaaaahh, you do what's best for the team not the individual.
Indeed, which is why it frankly doesn't matter whether it's harsh on SWP and Petrov (or indeed Robinho) - this is professional football. You do what gives you the biggest chance of winning, whether that be playing Robinho in place of one of SWP and Petrov, or playing the other two.

Apparently Citeh bid £50m for Torres on deadline day :laugh

And Keegan is still in charge of the farce on the tyne, apparently

Yeah great article, love the bloke. SBS miss him immensely imo.
Was also apparently rooting Stephanie Brantz, who wasn't that bad looking, or maybe to me who has worse form then Voltman

Anyway Citeh are now looking at Kaka, and are going to use Robinho, Elano and Jo as a bargining chip. Also looking at a big money transfer for Chris Greenacre as well.

Ha. Love the Noel Gallagher quote. :D

More money in the Prem will, at least, piss off Platini, so that can't be wholly bad.
I thought it was part of the requirements of the job to slag off England and the FA as the boss of UEFA and/or FIFA?

Seems to be, yes. Although the fat, balding French ****er seems to discharge his duties with particular relish.
Granted Platini's playing years were before mine (birth and following football), was there any incidents that made him hate anything English to give him such a chip on his shoulder?
