Norwood's on Fire
Lack of confidence in England's batting to last out 10 overs? Never would have imagined.
Seem to remember us falling in a low chase earlier in the summer, was on holiday though so can't be too sure

That may well be true, can't say it's something I've thought to look at, but his basic out-of-hand speed has indeed been pushing toward 90mph since the time mentioned - NZ ODIs.Nah, from what I can see (and Im on a small screen ) his left arm is taking a noticabley shorter distance from A-B.
The arc Ive talked about for a long time is less pronounced. He should be happy with the way the action looks ATM
TBF, this has mostly been excellent bowling - only Gibbs can feel out-and-out ashamed of his dismissal. If SA match this later, they should in theory be in with a chance of at least salvaging respectability.Oh dear South Africa.
When Sidebottom replaces Anderson indeed. Anderson has never convinced me in being a good ODI bowler and I dont see that changing. Is the ball swinging round corners or something? Quite astonishing this.
Decent attack this in ODIs, IMO
There's not been particularly excessive amounts of anything - the ball has seamed, every now and then, and Flintoff and Broad have put the ball in good areas for the most part. And as tec said, there's been a bit more uneven bounce than you'd hope for. Anderson got not completely insignificant swing earlier too - can only imagine what he'd have done if he'd bowled well.Is the ball swinging round corners or something? Quite astonishing this.

England winning the CT is probably the only way to further reduce the respectability of that tournament.Jeez why did the CT get cancelled, we were nailed on winners
Sadly not.Has the 9th batter ever been the teams top scorer after facing just 4 balls?
LOL dunno if there is a stat for this..
