Does that mean you have three batsmen for the next couple months until your trainiees come through. Or do you have some hidden pile of cash lying around. Would have through you would down size to another all rounder, rather then a specialist bowler.

Still that is three more batsmen then what we have.
Yeah cbf with another batsman at the moment, Campbell will come along eventually and hopefully I'll be good enough to keep myself in III. If not then so be it. Have 3m in the bank, so I'll let it build and maybe pick up a cheap old guy.

Just had a big win in my league, full-strength GFI. Solid ratings:

Anchormen
Top Order: wonderful
Middle Order: wonderful
Lower Order: abysmal
Seam Bowling: masterful
Spin Bowling: masterful
Fielding: competent

Doesn't quite put me into 4th though... that will come, I guess.

Awesome match. Rested all my bowlers and my best bats. They made 365-3 and we chased it down in 49 overs with the only wicket falling in the second last over. Opening partnership of 361, Falk made 201, Wilson 152.

Weird week of upsets in my league - with the exception of my match, the bottom teams all beat the top teams. I'm back to three wins clear at the top, then. Need to finish the season unbeaten to stand any chance of automatic promotion, and given the improvement of a couple of the chasing teams, I'm going to need a healthy slice of luck.

Three from the bottom four in my league won too, myself included...very strange.

I did GFI though, so will probably lose on Sunday :(
