'Heel' is the industry term for a bad guy in wrestling, the ones who go out of their way to get heat from the crowd and get booed and stuff.

Also because if you have been following wrestling for a good amount of time you will have had to have put up with this stale I'M AN INVINCIBLE SUPERHERO ALL AMERICAN GREAT MAN character for John Cena that's been shoved down our throats for god knows how long which has long annoyed most wrestling fans. some people hate him because he's booked as being invincible, some of us hate it because we want him to do something else. Personally want him to go heel more than anything in wrestling because he's a gun heel and it'd be so fresh and interesting. And most people dislike Batista because he has also been forced down our throats for god knows how long and he's about as charismatic as manhole cover. He regularly botches spots and he's not all that great in the ring, just one of these guys pushed to the moon because he looks the way Vince likes his champions to look.

So for example, Edge would be a Heel?

Ah, That makes sense then. I can understand the points about both Cena and Batista. I spose only just getting into it has helped me avoid the characters getting stale. I quite like Cena myself, particularly his on mic spots.

Yeah Edge is heel. One of the best we've ever seen to be honest, he's probably the best thing about the WWE at the moment.

Also you should see if you could find some of Cena's old promo's when he was a gangsta heel, he was utterly hilarious back in the day.

Well, he's made me hate him, so i spose i have to respect him for doing his job right :p...Is that when he thought he could rap? I think i've seen one of those. Was a promo for a parking lot brawl from memory.

To be honest, Cena has gone past the stage where he can go back to being a rapper heel.

It's one of the reasons he's widely disliked, the creative team just doesn't have the juice to script decent promos for him. He can stay face for the entirety of his career and I still wouldn't mind, as long as his "homie" character gets binned.

If Lesnar does come back, the last thing I want to see is him fighting a big man. Feats of strength, etc got old quickly after WM3. The reason Brock was so popular was his wrestling. Having a freak that big actually pull off wrestling holds and moves, and being that fast was awesome to watch. Lashley was supposedly just as athletic, but look where that got him.

Brock's forte in wrestling is against small men, because he's the only big man opponent who'll tango with them. If he does come back, put him up as a heel against Punk or MVP, and watch their popularity skyrocket.
Yeah, I want to see Brock vs Zack Gowan again.

No doubt he can't go back to being a thug dude but he could still be a better heel than he is a face imho. Boring as **** as a face.

Lesnar v Mysteriyo, now that would be interesting for sure.
Only if Rey could get back to putting in the kind of performances he was about 3-4 years ago.

And I'd wager that if Brock were to ever return to pro wrestling it would be with TNA, his relationship with WWE is not good to say the least.

Lesnar coming back is a long way off though. One major problem is the amount of heat he'd get in the locker room. He buried just about everyone in the locker room and then just pissed off and ran at a time when the WWE needed superstar power desperately.

It makes huge business sense to get him back for Mania but it's an extremely polarising issue right now for all the locker room. Personally can't see it happening for a long time though but one thing about wrestling is that there's always a way back and bridges are never completely burnt so watch this space I guess, they'd be mad to never consider it.

As for the Brock v Rey, it's been done once on a Smackdown and it was a great match but there was never any stage of the match where you believed Rey could beat him.

I used to feel along the same lines about Cena but out of all the superstars in the WWE he's probably the most down to earth not buying into his own hype guys in the whole industry. Yes, he's been shoved down our throats and yes his gimmick has become stale but he's improved leaps and bounds in the ring and he can also produce the most stirring promo's on the mic provided the material he's given is not being neutered by the writing staff.

In short I don't mind him but I feel they could be utilising him a lot better.

Don't get me wrong, I am definitely a Cena fan, I always have been. His 5 Questions with the Champ thing that used to be on wwe.com was absolute genius, used to go on every week when it came out. And I have enjoyed his work for a while. I just wish he didn't have to get stuck with such a crappy gimmick when he could be doing so much better with something else.

Been done more than once, actually. Once was some haloween themed party of some sort, and the other was when Brock debuted the "Brock Lock".

Of course, as a small guy, anyone needs to be more than credible to get in the ring with him. That said, it doesn't have to incredibly small guys, or people who are not over. Can you image the kind of money Brock v Edge would make? I'm drooling at the prospect of that match.

Brock in a four-way versus Styles, Daniels and Joe wouldn't be half-bad either.

Whys that?
Behind the scenes, it was widely known that the match would be Goldberg's last in WWE. Only a week before WrestleMania, however, rumors surfaced Lesnar, too, was leaving in order to pursue a career in the National Football League. As a result, Lesnar's match with Goldberg became a fiasco as the fans at Madison Square Garden jeered both wrestlers with very loud and distinct chants of "na na, hey hey goodbye" and "you sold out," with the crowd support mostly given to special referee Austin. Although Goldberg won the match, both men were given a Stone Cold Stunner by Austin on their way out.

Lesnar had previously signed a no-compete clause in order to be released from his contract with WWE, which prohibited him from working for any other sports entertainment or mixed martial arts companies before June 2010. Lesnar had anticipated leaving wrestling entirely, but his inability to secure a career in professional football led to him challenging this ruling in court.[53] WWE responded by demanding damages as a result of Lesnar allegedly breaching the agreement by appearing at a New Japan Pro Wrestling show in 2004.[54] In July 2005, the two sides dropped their claims and entered negotiations to renew their relationship.[55] WWE had offered Lesnar a contract, but on August 2, 2005, WWE's official website reported that Lesnar had withdrawn from any involvement with the company.[56] The lawsuit was then entered into settlement on September 21, but talks broke down.[57][58]

On January 14, 2006, Judge Christopher Droney stated that unless WWE gave him a good argument between then and January 25, he would rule in favor of Brock Lesnar, giving him a summary judgment. This would have enabled Lesnar to work anywhere he wanted immediately.[59] WWE was later granted a deadline postponement.[60] On April 24, World Wrestling Entertainment announced on their official website, WWE.com, that both parties had mutually come to a settlement and on June 12, a federal judge dismissed Lesnar's lawsuit against WWE after both parties requested for the case to be dismissed.[61]
