Budge & Rosewall.

Laver the immortal, but I can't get over Rosewall being in a Wimbledon final in the mid-50s, then again in the mid-70s. Unbelieveable longevity - top 20 for 25 years!!!. Not worthy of a 0, 0 drubbing IMO.

Budge and Laver.

Cash vs Budge is like Dean Jones vs Wally Hammond. Really shouldn't be close.

Cash's record doesn't reflect his ability. He was severly cut down by injuries, and matched it with the best when he was at the top. He had some classic encounters with Wilander (sp) and Lendl to name a few. Was a wonderful effort to win Wimbledon and he did make two Australian Open grand finals and was the first modern patriarch of Davis Cup for Australia.

i liked him as a player and rooted for him in that '87 wimbledon final vs lendl, but there were quite a lot of players who were better than him during that time...
