Apparently every delivery of the Bodyline series was filmed - sadly we only ever get to see the same clips - I fear most of it just wasn't kept but have never had a satisfactory answer

That does look a bit iffy - but if it was taken in 58/59 history records that the bent elbow variation was at that time encouraged down under

I think Lindwall greeted the tourists at QLD and said "I am the last of the straight-arm bowlers"

I have watched that footage and he does seem to bend his arm, but nothing I have ever read suggests anyone even suspected him as a chucker, maybe it has to do with angles and projector speeds?
