I cant believe anyone comparing Richards with Border. Except that both used a cricket batYes the words were spoken about Alan Border
The speaker/writer was a test player too
Part of the reason I chose this quote was to bring into focus the gentleman's past record given his judgment has come in for some criticism recently!I cant believe anyone comparing Richards with Border. Except that both used a cricket bat
I have read that one, but do not remember that quote. He did another one called Bradman What They Said About HimThat's the man - remarkable comments in my view - dont know where or when he said it but its quoted in a book about AB called "What they said about him" which is, as the title suggests, a collection of quotes about him
English ?After retirement who called his home 'Dunbowlin'?
If yes, I think Tich Freeman.English ?
Ranji?Okay here is a very intersting one though very easy for anyone who has read the story once.
An astrologer was once called by a rich family for some consultations and predictions about the future of some family members. When he came, he found four gentlemen sitting in big armchairs. Behind one of them stood a servant, waving a fan. The austrologer, after seeing the hands of the four gentlemen, asked to see the hand of the servant and then predicted that he would be a "king in sport".
Who was the servant and what happened to him after this incident.
NopeIs it something connected with the scoring of centuries?
