I knew about the aborigines' tour - I was just wondering how a cricket tour of England could span two calendar years.
Those Christmas matches we sometimes hear about are usually the work of eccentrics.
Perhaps it was part of a world tour that took in other countries as well but under the umbrella of the name The Australian Aboriginal Cricketers on Tour 1867-68 which describes the whole tour and not just the England part.

Yes It is Johnny Mullagh whose real name was Unaarrimin.
He was the first Australian to bowl for an Australian representative side on English soil as well as the first to score a fifty in this match.
