Alrighty mate. I'll break it down.
Demeza: is me. Current captain of Blue. Fast bowler, rookie season 8, currently in the test team. Can't hold a bat or play OD cricket to save my life.
Fuller: Has captained Blue in the past prior to relative inactivity. Season 8 rookie (he actually got me onto CW). Has played for the CW XI in the OD format, is one of the best all rounders going around. IMO is hands down the best all rounder in the OD format (excluding camps) and is well beyond solid in FC cricket.
Collins: Currently playing test cricket. Is a FC specialist, being one of the most measly bowlers ever within CW history. Hasn't broken into OD cricket like he probably should have. One of the key, backbone players of Blue. Arguably the best CW bowler in our FC team. <<<<NEED ADAM TO STATE ACTIVITY JUST QUIETLY>>>>
P Young: Absolute gun with the bat. Decent backup keeper. Has been around since day dot. Averages like 10 million with the bat in FC and is unreal with handling OD cricket. Pretty sure he was the higehst score in FC cricket in the dev league last season. Recently won back his test spot at number 3. Opens the batting for us, though.
Camps: Enough said, really. Hands down the greatest OD all rounder CW has ever seen. I'd like him to step up with the bat a bit more, like he did a couple seasons ago, in FC cricket. Heart and soul of Blue.
Crampton: Currently the only specialist Keeper at Blue. Plays ODI cricket for CW and is more than handy at holding the entire tail together in the FC team. Expecting huge things from Alex this year.
DeSilva: Dinu has become our key batsmen in the short form of the game. Game and game again he's rescued us from pure poo. He's not converted his OD form to FC, but he's all class. Has an unreal record with the ball, too. Under-used, perhaps. Has been called upon to Captain the OD team when i'm too **** to play
Cribb: Rob's the current VC of the team. Although he doesn't play much OD cricket (a lot of squad are specialists, unfortunately) he's recent seasons in FC have been unreal. Holds the FC team together batting at #4. Bowls more than useful leggies.
Williams: Rhys unfortunately hasn't had much chance in the team to date. Has played his role here and there, but we expect big things from him this year with his spin. He has recently set the T20 world alight.
Gooljar: Gareth has been around since day dot and played every role known to man. One of the most respected people in dev league history. He along with Williams and yourself (Sudeep) will bne playing for the main spinners role in both OD and FC cricket.
Bowen: Electric FC batsmen. Hasn't converted to OD to date. Has one of the highest strike rates of any batsmen averaging over 30 in their career in FC cricket. Will set crowds alight at number 5 or 6 this season one hopes.
Manan Shah: Picked Manan up from the colts the previous season. He went into obscurity after a quarter through the seaosn, but came back to have one of the biggest impact of any player in the FC and OD leagues. Real key to our team, although needs to remain active. Some have highlighted him to take the most FC wickets this season. Is a quality seam up bowler.
S Young: Season 13 rookie. Stephen played at number 3 in both FC and OD cricket for most of season 13 and held his own completely. Averaging over 30 in both forms is rare, and is valued as a key part to CW Blue's repeat in season 14.
Sriram: Pick of the season for most people. G would be close to representing CW at OD level. Took the most wickets in the OD format in his rookie season (which is so required at Blue, as both Ad's and myself can't bowl in that format to save our lives!). Complete team man to boot, represents the spirit of CW Blue to a tee.
Burridge: Morgie didn't get a chance to represent the Blues last season, being a late entry to the competition. It is expected that Burridge will make his debut early in the season as an opening batsmen in either form of the game. Big things are expected, as well.
ROOKIES thus far: Morris, Popat and Maina. I think we've made some unreal picks this rookie season with these three. Can't wait to see how they all go, with it being expected that all 3 rookies (to date) will eb playing regular cricket in Blue colours within season 14.
Hope this helps, in some shape or form
