Watching RAW in full and can't help but be impressed with how R&DB are going. This program where they go at Duggan and Lawler on the mic rather than just tired old beatdowns is actually doing a far better job at getting them over.

Also, is it just me or does JTG remind anyone else of Xzibit? The two six man tags in a row have been very good too, the tag guys haven't had to rely on Cena and JBL to get the matches interesting and that's a promising sign.

Also, Great Khali is now the #1 contender for the Triple H's belt. Ugh, some of the promo's Hunter is going to cut on him are going to be cringeworthy to say the least.

In better news it seems like they're starting some "R.Truth" vignettes on Smackdown so we could see Killings on there soon.

Oh and: Edge v Taker - Hell in a Cell for Summerslam
Where on paper this is good, and it probably will be a good match, I feel slightly underwhelmed whenever I hear a HIAC announced, because they all inevitably end up the same, since the 6 man hell in a cell 8 years ago all of them have followed a very similar pattern of huge beat down - get thrown into the cage wall a few times - various spots with the steel steps/steel chair - get busted open - both guys knackered, one collapses on the other to get the fall. Mind you, seeing as Edge is involved that could open up a window for some new crazy spots, fingers crossed.

And as for HHH/Khali....I wonder who's going to win that one...hmm

Also, dunno if this is available outside of the UK and I assume America but if it is then I would encourage everyone to check out the WWE Classics show that is running now. Caught it on Sky Sports 3 a few times, hosted by Mean Gene, and really enjoyed what I've seen so far. Basically just what you'd imagine, just showing old matches from back in the day again and it's really great stuff. Not all PPV either, just random matches, saw Kerry Von Erich vs Mr. Perfect the other day and if you know both of those names you should know what kind of match it was. Love it so much.

Thankfully that's a really good choice of name as fans still know who he is and WWE can still have their intellectual property trademarked. Looking forward to this.

Yeah it's on weekends here, but never at home to catch it. Weather looks rubbish for this Saturday so might give it a go if I stay in.

Has anyone seen this new ECW title they presented Mark Henry with the other night? I haven't been able to track down a picture yet. I hear that despite it being made out of silver Mike Adamle has been referring to it as "championship GOLD!".

On a side note, my dad signed up for Sky Sports again, so as of tonight I can watch RAW once more (y)

Yeah it actally looks a fair bit better than I thought it would, although still a bit daft. Adamle is hilarious

Watching Smackdown, must say that MVP is awesome. He absolutely shhat all over Jeff Hardy on the mic and drew a lot of quality heat with consumate ease. Tbh it was painful watching him school Hardy like that, destruction doesn't do it justice.

They really have to push MVP he could do really really well.

Agreed entirely, absolutely loved the promo. How good has WWE been with it's promos lately? First that fantastic Chris Jericho promo on Raw and now MVP, ofcourse they are the two of the most charismatic performers in WWE.

Would love to see MVP and Jericho pushed towards the next level and stay there.

The fact that Lesnar managed to do that considering how long that match went showed how strong an athlete that mofo was.

Wish he didn't throw it all away.
Well he fights for UFC, gets paid a whole lot more and doesn't have to beat himself up every week. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of travel WWE does. I think he's doing okay for himself actually. Yes he had the talent to be absolutely huge in WWE, but why hang around when it isn't your passion in the first place.

UFC's pretty brutal. He may not perform as frequently but he'd sure as hell get beat up.
Sure you get hurt and it's tough, but continously wrestling 20 minute main event matches, house shows and television is brutal for the body too. With UFC Brock would get plenty of time to heal whereas most WWE guys work hurt a lot of the time which leads to severe injuries, surgeries and for most a painkiller addiction.

Yeah it's pretty bad tbh, as on top of all the travel and pretty much working a show every night (let's not forget that for the top guys the TV tapings often include an extra 20 minutes worth of sometimes brutal dark matches) there is a hell of a lot of promotional work they are expected to do as well. Would hate to be a pro-wrestler.
