Come on Harrington!
COME ON GREG!!!
Looks like my guy came up trumps :p

Fair play to Harrington. Can afford a triple bogey on the last now and still take it. Nice to see a European win.
Fair play to Porridge, as Brumbers said, a European win is nice, was rooting for Norman personally but Harrington the next best for me.
After voting no to lisbon we're not counted as Europeans any more :p

Great win for Harrington, up to no.3 in the world I read somewhere online earlier, was shocked at that one. Of course nice to have a 2nd Irishman in the Ryder Cup squad too :D

Ah, turned ths clock back to the 80s and 90s last night - sitting up all night looking for a Norman win. More often than not he didn't get there back then either.
Great effort Harrington and well played to Greg as well. The bloke's still got that charisma when he plays - can't believe he was matching it for drives with a guy like Harrington at age 53. Can't say he melted down this tiem either - he played the same way yesterday as he did all tourney - just didn't come off for him yesterday.

Will take him in the Ryder Cup team :)

On that: Sergio Garcia fell out of the team altogether after this performance. Would guess that he's the first name on the wild card list though. Last spot between Donald, Fisher, Poulter and Monty I guess.

No disrespect to those you mentioned who are all playing well, but I'd have Monty in a match play event any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Reckon he's a fantastic Ryder Cup player.

Yeah, that's why he's on my list tbh. On merit this year he shouldn't be anywhere near :p

Equal 3rd in the British Open, yet now the big man is struggling in a seniors tournament, hehe.

Clarke making a decent application for a Ryder Cup wild card. Tied fourth three strokes off Mickelson/Vijay.

Also, keep fighting Westwood.

after trying really hard to lose, vijay finally comes up with a big win to break his drought!:), one way to look at it is it must be a tremendous boost of confidence for him to win even after a display of such horrendous short-range putting...his blunders with the putter is what kept it close over the last two rounds...

ben curtis the 54 hole leader...a bunch of good players near him including garcia, stenson, holmes and harrington...jeev milkha singh with 3 solid rounds so far....

**** me, what a performance, his putting was unbelivable. If only golf was an Olympic Sport we might win a medal

in a tiger-less world, harrington establishing himself as the best current player(on form, not talking about career) south of tiger...

Harrington again? What a great run.

I'd like to see Garcia win one though. Dunno how many better chances he'll get than this tourney with no Tiger there.
