Damn, single off the first ball of the over. And a few spots of rain around it appears.

Hadn't realised this is only the second time he's passed 120 in a Test.

First ball back watching after the physio and Bell out.
He cant help but **** up even during the innings of his life (being a little harsh intentionally)

NOOOO! Was looking forward to that moment so much, feel bad for the lad. Still, an absolutely fantastic innings. If further proof were needed that Bell > Collingwood, there it is. I think we know who the man will be to depart if England decide to sacrifice a batsman for Flintoff (which they shouldn't).

Top innings by a top player, pretty confident he'll make 200 one day so I'm not too worried. Well done, son.

Good on Bell, can't believe the stick he's got for this innings, yeah its a flat pitch but people have been giving him sh&t for only scoring when the pressures off...the pressure was definitely on when he came in, he took the pressure off Kp with his early runs, took a backseat when KP was settled, then took over again when he got out an ensured the good score turned into a very good score, pretty much perfect innings in the situation for mine.

Anyway missed the first session and 3/4 due to being out for work, went to the casino expecting us to be all out, pleasantly surprised and impressed by Stuart Broad...if only we could combine his batting with Simon Jones' bowling. Probably declare overnight and see what happens in the morning.

collingwood must be shi**ing it and hoping we bowl them out twice, rightly or wrongly he's otherwise going to be in trouble for his place.

It shouldn't really be in any less/more danger, he got a shocking desicion,
I agree, but I have the feeling the decision may already be made, and Broad bringing stability to the lower order will help bring it about, rightly or wrongly. I think Freddie will be back for him next match.

All depends what happens for the rest of the match of course. Wouldn't be surprised if jimmy bowls trash they may bring Jones in for him too. Let Jones and Freddie bowl in short bursts, whilst the other three do the donkey work.

Mitchell Johnson > Graeme Smith with the bat.

Graeme Smith > Mitchell Johnson with the ball. :(

not necessarily based on his innings, but if England fail to do anything with the ball and they decide they need an extra bowler...who they gonna drop?
Drop a bowler.

THh batting unit has just scored 600. Depth was important.

Dropping a batsman for a bowler gets rid of that depth and ****s with the balance.

If they do that they are ********.
