Extremely close stumping, would've been harsh on whichever side it went against. Suppose benefit of the doubt going to the batsman saved Styris in the end.

As for the over rate, 35 minutes to bowl 8 and a bit overs...will be touch and go!

Agreed. TH's "Vettori bashing" is becoming as boring, predictible and as over the top as both Richard's constant bashing of 20/20 cricket and SP's constant bagging of NZ cricket.

Perhaps the three of them should set up a meeting so they can bitch and moan to eachother about their respective pet-hates because I think I can safely say most of us a sick of it. Don't get me wrong, everyone is entitled to their point of view, but to make the same point over and over almost constitutes trolling for mine.
eh? Danny's ok. It's Lou Vincent that I truly despise.

And this is the over New Zealand needed...interesting that Luke Wright didn't bowl that final over from the part-timers.

Looks like we should be set a target that is chaseable in theory, nothing is certain with us though.

Early thoughts on MOTS? Colly would have perhaps been worth a shout, tops the run-scoring charts and second in the wicket table (prior to today).

Been an interesting series for us. I maintain that we have improved as an ODI outfit since two years ago but it's good that we've had a boot up the arse after a couple of good early performances. Still some way to go yet, CT will be an intersting test this autumn.
Although hes high up on both the runs and wickets lists, I doubt he'll get it given he'll have been involved in just a solitary English victory during the series. In saying that, I wouldn't be surprised if he shares the MOTS award with Southee, either that or Southee to take the award.

And there goes Oram...
