Anyway, anyone watch the Roosters vs. Dogs match? Was a comedy of errors, entertaining tstl. How about SBW's grubber from in his own in-goal? Laughed so hard.

EDIT: FTR, I was going to come in to post about how Luke Rooney should be playing Origin ahead of Quinn due to his ability to match in the air against Folau, but instead I copped spoilers. I then asked him to stop, refreshed the thread to post it again and copped it again. I then proceeded to not come back.

Finally, a decision that made sense.

Jakester, this thread isn't for live match updates - it's to discuss the competition as a whole and important aspects of games after they are over. Stop treating it like an updates page.

Don't think that's fair. Been done a million times before by plenty of people, Craig in particular. Bit rough to single James out here, just because he upset Smith.

Conversion missed, score remains 12 all.

Woah! Sa in for the Roosters, Roberts converts and the Roosters lead 24-10 with 4 mins left. Game over tbh.

Going to extra time at Penrith, and the Dogs have hit back at SFS with a try.

Roosters 24 defeated Bulldogs 14.

How is this any different to score updates throughout the day when the cricket's on in any given thread? It is possible to watch the game and have your computer turned off, unless you're actually connected up to the power supply yourself.

Oh dear. I honestly doubt anyone on here enjoys sorting through two pages of score updates after the game has finished anyway and imagine that a lot of people also like to watch the delayed coverage not knowing the score. As said previously, if you would like to know the score there are other places you can go.

I mean, you could go through all the pages in this thread and find plenty of score updates. Safest thing to do while there is a game going on is not to come into this thread. Have been thankful plenty of times for score updates in cricket threads. Particularly not having Foxtel anymore I kind of don't keep up with the overseas tours as I should. A few times during the recent Windies OD series, I've gone into the thread and gone, oh yeah there's a game on and go and check what's been happening.

I have no problem with score updates, like I said, the stuff with the Panthers-Broncos game was fine and I have no problem with him posting about it and discussing it. My problem was with the updating of the delayed game, and even then I stopped after the 2nd time when he refused to stop updating. It's un-neccesary for mine, especially on the delayed games. I should be able to discuss the live game without fear of having the score in the other game told to me.

How would you like it if Ray Warren and Phil Gould discussed the score in the other game whilst the Panthers-Broncos were on? I realise they're somewhat different, but still.

Wasn't the Roosters-Bulldogs game live on radio. What if your listening to a match live on radio and want to comment on it. Do we have to wait due to the fact that fox or nine might be delaying it. Pretty stupid really. Granted Jakester went over the top, but doesn't mean you can't post scores about when you might be listening on the radio to a game.
