Averages over 40 opening for Australia in ODI's iirc (may have fallen below after today). Haddin is a much worse option and I'm not sure about Hopes. The guy has two shots, slash through point/gully and a slap through midwicket.

Don't lik e Watson opening tbh. Failed for Qwensland and another duck for Australia. He's a no.4 batsman for mine. Dunno whoy wshould open then. Maybe Hopes or Haddin. Wonder if Jaquwes will ever make a ODI career. Donm't see why not. Would do better opening hthat Watto, as muich as ilove him. Wish Watto the best but he shouldn't be opneing.

exactly 100 pship as Pup goes out.. pretty big wicket would've liked him to stay longer... however we do have some pretty good batsmen coming in now..

Cameron White over David Hussey is a very interesting move selection-wise. Would think the latter has the advantage in batting, bowling and fielding. Hopefully White can have a dirty slog as per usual.

Because you don't always open with your best players? Hussey is a fine finisher and has an inhuman record at five. Certainly not the worst idea ever, but just because he's in form doesn't mean you put him at the top.
