, word. When i first saw him bowl in the super series i couldn't believe he was the same bowler who the selectors dropped MacGill for in 2004 nor the man who had so much hype after the 02 U19 WC.I doubt that will eventuate. The thought of Cameron White bowling makes me want to convulse.
Batting ability, yes, but he still has a lot to prove in that regard before he can be considered a fixture in the team. Hasn't had much opportunity yet, but has also been far from convincing in those limited opportunities. But the AUS selectors are pretty much giving white a challenge here, get your bowling back & you are a permanent fixture (since you will admit given his batting ability if his bowling becomes consistent it gives the side even more depth) if not remain a fringe player.
Benefiting plentifully by coming in against a debutant, practically a debutant, an out-of-form wicketkeeper and a Darren Sammy. Not watching it, but going by the cricinfo scorecard, excellent stuff from our new ODI spinner...
That's a bit unfair. He did have Bravo dropped in the slips fairly early on too.Ok, so Johnson is a work in progress at test level, I understand that. But his drop in form is now alarming me, as it seems he's been pretty innocuous even in the ODI format, which has always been his milieu.
I think it's time for a rest. Bring in Clark.

One of the undisputed top blokes of world sport.Brett Lee is fast becoming my favourite Australian cricketer. Used to hate the guy, but I really have taken a liking to him.
