Apart from Weerapuna's pop they are all fairly important for me. Sanjayan can open the batting now. Samarakoon should be able to play Youths and T20 next season. Gamaarachchi can play 1st XI now. Kanapathipillai my main finisher in both squads so it good to see him develop. Gunarathnam only go straight onto a normal bowling net, no more time wasted on technique net.

I'd train his bowling to reasonable and sell him. His technique would take too long to get up to a decent level and you'd make a fair bit off him. His captaincy is nice though.

A lot hinges on how good the safe hands talent is. Alexander is roughly about as good as Fitzpatrick is - *if* they happened to be the same age. Fitzpatrick should pop in batting in 3-4 weeks tops whereas Alexander's pops are unknown because he was only pulled last week. What to do...

Close elections for both me and andruid, apparently.

Geez, accomplished keeper and you don't know what to do with him  Would perhaps depend on whether you'll get the gunnest bowling attack in the world or not.

Would go with Ashley Fitzpatrick personally. Mainly due to Alexander's technique. It will take a while to improve. Due that fact that Fitzpatrick has gifted keeping you can focus on his batting a bit more as keeping will still pop at decent rate.

You will lose to much money off him long term if you sell him straight away. Players with poor technique and endurance go for next to nothing, even with good talents. Also none of my spinners in my squad can bat, so it will be handy to have one spin bowling all rounder. Also my current 16yo & 17yo don't have an all rounder.

Will train him on bowling technique for a couple seasons until he has decent technique. Should only take a season really, so it not that long considering he doesn't need to play for a couple season. Basically can train him however I want till he is 19 and re-assess his role in the side.

Technique should pop reasonably quickly while he's on keeping training. Again should be no more than about half a level behind Fitzpatrick at his age.

Anyway I guess I don't need to make a real decision til next season when one of them will be playing for the seniors.

FTP starting to fully piss me off with youth pulls, as I mentioned before I joined this game with a friend who is in all the same leagues as me and was assigned literally a day after I was. As far as I know we've both put similar amounts of money into our academy investment as well. However as far as YP's go, every time he's pulled a 16 year old of a decent level, including a Reasonable batsman with boundary hitter talent. Whereas i've pulled all 17 year olds, with one being passable and the rest being utter ****, and this one today just took the ****ing piss:

dunno if it's some sort of game mechanic that not all teams are the same and some produce better than others or if I've just been having horrible horrible luck but whatever it is it's properly getting on my nerves.

Hah that's the worst YP/rating I've ever seen.

But yea just bad luck, I've had some I've just fired along with some awesome pulls this season. YPs are a very volatile event, so you'll get some huge short term differentials and you'll just have to ride them out and wait for it to balance out.
