Started unemployed. Applied for Bournemouth and hired.
Bournemouth for 1.5 seasons. Approached by Southampton halfway through second year.
Southampton for 2 seasons. Approached by Australia after 1st season and accepted (had great success) then approached by Liverpool after 2nd season. Definitely accepted Liverpool's offer.
Liverpool for 3.5 seasons. Won everything over the course of my time there, including the Prem thrice. Then I had a rough start to my 4th season, and got bored anyway, so I quit.
Unemployed for a bit and then approached by Colombia. I managed them for a bit, before I realized that there was just one goalkeeper available to me. With that in mind, I quit after 5 games.
Approached by Reading and took them up from the Championship. Halfway through my first season with Reading (13th at the time) in the Premiership, Barcelona approached me and I jumped at the opportunity. Strangely, Barcelona was top of La Liga at the time by 7 points, so I just had to hang on and won my first La Liga title. Reading was relegated. The next season I went into the final day of the seasons needing to win and for Real to lose to win the title. We drew and Real won, and we finished third. The next two seasons we won La Liga and the Cup, but lost in the semi-final twice to Inter.
I quit Barcelona to pursue a bigger challenge, hoping to return to England. But there were no attractive openings, and Mallorca pursued me aggressively. I rejected them thrice and they kept coming back offering me more transfer money. Ultimately I accepted the contracted and we finished 7th in my first season there, beating Barcelona, Betis and Real Madrid twice each, but finishing below all of them. Still, got to the Euro Vase and got into the UEFA Cup through that, but got as far as Lyon in the first knockout round before bowing out. That season we were due to finish 10th when Italy approached me.
As much as I hate Italy, I figured I'd accept the offer/challenge and quit the Mallorca job to focus on it. But Italy was horrible under my me. Indisciplined and losing twice to Scotland, drawing with Romania and Malta
. I presume it's because I don't speak Italian. Anyway, I quit there to give Italy a small chance of reviving their Euro qualification campaign. The next game they won 4-0. Heh.
I quickly got approached by West Ham and am presently managing them. Sitting at 7th after about 20 games in the season, but knocked out of both cups in the first/second round. West Ham won the FA Cup last season, giving me some European footie. Getting ready to play the second leg of my first UEFA knockout round tie against a team I've never heard of and can't remember the name of right off the bat. Leading 2-0 and playing the second leg at home. Quietly confident.
I think that accounts for all of my seasons in the current game.
The most crucial recent news though, is that John Terry (42 years old) was hired as manager by Everton manager at the same time as I joined West Ham. He was recently fired with Everton at 13th. Made me chuckle.
