Yeah, makes me wonder why prior to the break-up in 92, Yugoslavia never featured more prominently as a footballing power, then again I guess it's only Croatia who regularly seem to performSlovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Hercegovina...Kosovo is the 7th nation to come out of Yugoslavia. I will openly admit that I had no idea about Slovenia coming out of Yugoslavia, given they are right next to the Italian border and parts of it speak Italian anyway. Then again so is a corner of Croatia.

12.30, Blantyre, grp 12: Malawi v Egypt (Egypt should put a stranglehold on the group - though even a point here will have them in a good position)

11.30, Singapore, grp 4: Singapore v Saudi Arabia (Singapore's motley crew of nationalised players virtually eliminated, needing a win by at least a couple of goals here.)
12.00, Tianjin, grp 1: China v Iraq (China were shocking in their last match here, and will be out with a loss. Iraq's win over Australia means they've got qualification in their own hands now, though a big win over Qatar may be needed.)

17.45, Kuwait City, grp 5: Kuwait v UAE (Kuwait in good form, and could actually go first with a lot of luck with results. Though the team, who last qualified in 1982, are more likely to go out after a final loss in Teheran. The winner pretty well positioned though.)

19.00, Kingstown, grp 2: St Vincent and the Grenadines v Canada (potential upset here. St Vincent have punched above their weight, had a FIFA ranking to avoid the first knockout round, and Canada aren't very good.)
19.00, Port-au-Prince, grp 3: Haiti v Netherlands Antilles (neither of these sides reached the semis the last time around. Haiti won the Caribbean Nations Cup and start as favourites.)
20.00, Panama City, grp 3: Panama v El Salvador (pretty close. These two sides met in qualifying group last time, with Panama triumphing 4-2 on aggregate and qualifying for the next round at the expense of Jamaica and El Salvador. Time for El Salvador to swing themselves back to the heights of the '70s and '80s.)
20.30, Houston (USA), grp 2: Belize v Mexico (rout. Doesn't help that it's on semi-neutral ground, the Hispanics will flock to the game.)
21.00, Los Angeles suburbs, grp 1: United States v Barbados (Barbados really struggled in the first knockout. Easy meat.)
21.30, Macoya, grp 1: Trinidad/Tobago v Bermuda (Bermuda have an ok record, and if they can get a good result of this leg the return match could be a cracker.)
23.00, Kingston, grp 2: Jamaica v Bahamas (both matches in this rubber to be played on Jamaica. As Roseboy said, this should be sleepwalking for Jamaica.)

18.00, Montevideo: Uruguay v Venezuela (two teams struggling around the qualification mark. Venezuela have recovered in recent years, and came back from 2-3 against Bolivia to win and seize fifth. Uruguay have one point in the last three matches and need to improve to get the fifth place they usually book.)
15 June 01.00 am, Lima: Peru v Colombia (Jefferson Vargas saved a point against Brazil, but Peru have otherwise been embarrassing. Colombia are fourth, but have played three of four games at home.)

19.00, Asunción: Paraguay v Brazil (Brazil have never failed to qualify and are third thus far with good away results. Paraguay are leading on the back of 5-1 against Ecuador and 3-0 against Chile.)
21.10, Buenos Aires: Argentina v Ecuador (Second against eighth, and Argentina's home record is enviable. Seven straight home wins, 19 wins and one draw in their last 20. They haven't lost at home in qualifying since a 0-5 drubbing at the hands of Colombia in 1993.)
23.30, La Paz: Bolivia v Chile (Bolivia have won their match against FIFA, and are allowed to play at 3,637 metres asl. Hasn't helped much in this qualifying, where they have one point from four games, but Chile have hardly been excellent either, and lie seventh.)

They don't, but as the qualifying doubles as qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations, they're in it. I think the results of their games is taken out when considering World Cup qualifying.
