State 12th Man
domenech has made some odd descions. evra left out and playing two holding midfeilders against a team who's left their half about three times this match

Two holding midfielders is a very strange one, and hasn't helped with their utter lack of creativity, there is no support for the strikers from central midfield.

Tbf, while I rate Evra very highly indeed, I also rate Abidal similarly highly, either way they're not short of quality in the left back position.

What a smeller. Romania came with just the one plan & yer frogs weren't good enough to break them down.

Feel like the BBC owes me two hours of my life back.

Word that 4-2-3-1 formation clearly doesn't work for France anymore without Zidane.

French Secretary of Sport, Bernard Laporte was at the game, he was the man who coaxed all the flair out of the French rugby team, Raymond Domenech has now did the same to the national football team.

Fair play to Romania though, they will be delighted with the draw and considering they beat the Netherlands during qualifying, all is not lost.

Twice. I said Italy would be out before the quarters.
Nah. By the time it took Netherlands to score that goal, a French defender would have dribbled three midfielders twice and still been about 80 yards from Italy's goal. Predicting France to go out with whimpers.
