For a neutral it worked out ok.
Feel a bit for Terry but so happy about Drogba getting sent off for acting like the bitch he is and that **** Anelka missing the pen. In terms of football players I dont like that went well. The only bonus would be if news reports said Dennis Wise was at the game and fell and broke both his legs

Frankly Tevez ruined what was a decent final by being a **** in the events that led up to Drogba's sending off (who was an idiot himself, can't go slapping players, jeez), that whole rucus was caused by Tevez being a moron.

If we'd only finished it in the first half like we should have done, I would have suffered less, penalty shoot-out was absolutely agonizing.
Am I the only one that thought the pitch was shocking? Players slipping all over the place, yeah Terry was unlucky, VDS was unlucky to slip for Lampard's goal.
Settling it on penalties is both a shame and the best way to win it (in a way) at the same time. Thought overall we just about shaded it.

Nah, Giggs should have won it in extra time anyway. Chelsea, for all their domination in the second half, only came close once, and again only came close once in extra time (they didn't exactly dominate extra time anyway). United came close on numerous occasions, and it should have been 3-0 by half time tbh.
I have an exam tomorrow, my last minute revision that I usually rely on has not occurred this time.

Fair enough. Neither team really deserved to lose/win, really. Man Utd could've been two or three up at HT tho & Drogba red was so gay & girly the Chavs made the better case for a defeat. JT was probably taking Drogba's pen.
Giggs to knock it on the head after that? Only way is down you'd have thought.

Carrick, Giggs and Tevez should've won it for us, shades of 99 when Drogba and Lampard hit the woodwork though.
As for Mitchells comment RE Tevez, earlier on Joe Cole went down for cramp, utd kicked it out on the halfway line, Chelsea played it out for a throw in by the goal line and pressed us at the throw, not very sporting, so next time it happened utd played it out and Tevez told his teammates 'push up, lets attack this'.... Only fair considering its the attitude they'd taken. Ballack saw his arse with him, led to the 'gathering', and Drogba getting the handbags right infront of the linesman (cheers JT for holding back Vidic, he WOULD'VE murdered Drogba).
As for pens, JT doing a Beckham when it really mattered let us off the hook. Nothing better than seeing an ex Arsenal, Liverpool, Citeh and Bolton player hand us the title on a plate though!

Couldn't believe it when Terry stepped up..had predicted Ronaldo to fluff but thought it'd be a cert that Essien would take the 5th pen. As soon as Terry stepped up i thought he'd stuff up.
When Ronaldo missed I was distraught. Terry missing was awesome. And then VDS saving Anelka's shot, wow.

I can't believe Grant took Cole off for Anelka. Worst substitution I've seen in a long time. Cole was just beginning to have an impact on the game, whereas Ballack was piss poor all night, and Drogba only did two things in the match, out of which one was getting sent off.
Really, really should've taken Ballack or Drogba off for Shevchenko. Anelka did **** all during the time he was on.
In other news, does Rio Ferdinand pass more than 5% of his total passes forward? I'm sure Ferdinand to VDS was the most common pass in the game. I couldn't believe Gray and Tyler knocking Makelele for his passing after what Rio'd been doing the whole match.
