Been a pretty decent off-season so far, scored quickly in IPL, scored quite a few in New York, and now a T20 captain.

to play Twenty20 cricket. 'mon chaps.

Luff: I've been rubbish at getting back to you. Would you still consider a contract offer from Red at this late stage?

Also, I'm considering stepping down from official captaincy. Last season I was sorely behind the eight-ball and the team suffered. I don't want that to happen again, so we need an active and committed captain.

Just quietly, I think my contract was up at the end of last season as well. Oh, and I would be willing to help with captaincy/selection duties if it helps Mork :)

Any thoughts on a replacement?

Luffy, was talking to Hak the other day, have you been in contact with him re: your own contract? If not please email hak ASAP with your requirements. Your definatly still a valued member at CW Red.

It’s matluff108 at hotmail dot com… However, been talking to Hak, and got myself a 3 year deal, with a get out clause if not getting the FC game time I want.

RE: Contracts, is the points system still in place? And if so, how often are players re-valued? (Mork may be able to shed some light here?)

Reason I ask is that I'm pretty sure my contract is also up (was only 2 seasons).

Players are revalued when their contract expires - and that's not officially until the end of the season, which is when club cricket ends. Thus, I don't really know the points I'm allowed to give out.

So yeah, that means we have to resign you, Nayak, Jamee, Callum and Kenny. And possibly Athlai, if he ever turns up round these parts.
