I know NZ have imported a SAfrican or two of late, as well as a WIndian in the 1950s, but I've never heard of Brits or Irish (apart from Twose) playing for NZ TBH.

SIX! Blimeys.
Smart cricket from Oram and an interesting call for Vaughan to make now.

I know Sidebottom has caused Oram plenty of problems, but I actually fancy his chances better against Flynn.

Er. Sorry. I'm stupid.

But assuming England bowls out NZ...nah, they have their own subs. Of course. *digs hole deeper*

Good decision there by Bucknor. I've often criticised him but he's been pretty good in this Test overall (apart from a certain Vaughan decision yesterday of course).

If we can get Flynn within 5 overs, McCullum doesn't bat, and Mills and Southee go quickly, it'll need a hell of a stand between Oram and Vettori for you guys to bat all day.

As I've said before, Mills is a very decent batsman so it's not a given that he'll go quickly. He is more than capable of scoring 30-odd in a lengthy partnership with Oram or Vettori.

He is, but he's far less good than Oram or Vettori and a batsman I'd hope to knock-over quickly if the ball is swinging.
