6/7 so far. Dragons ruined me - only fitting, they've ruined me nearly every time I have tipped 'em the past 5 years.

5/7 I think. Bloody Eels, I honestly don't think I've tipped one of their games right this season so far. Fell down on Knights/Tigers too.

Get off Parra mate - they're my side, and I can tell you there are blokes there who just aren't having a dig.

I can cop my side getting beat in any sport, but I think the worst thing you can say about any sports person is that they're not having a go, and some of our fellas aren't. Weren't helped by the ref on Friday, but still should have given a yelp.

4/7

Really don't know why I tipped the Warriors.
I have 100% tipping success with the Warriors this season. Tip them for a win when they play at home, tip them for a loss when they play away. I'd even go as far to tip them at home against Melbourne.

Agree in principal but is there really any way around it? If players were to play for their club this weekend, then Origin on Wednesday and then their club again next weekend, times that by three times in eight weeks we could see some even worse standard of football.

I hope everyone has Thunderstruck playing out of their ghetto blaster in preparation for Wednesday night. It's the ultimate Origin song. Already giving it a decent work out this early in the week - have to be careful not to play my game before kick off.

Should just have it so there are no NRL games the weekend before Origin imo.

Personally, I don't mind the weakened sides. I like seeing the Baby Broncos, and Baby Storm play. You get a chance to see the younger guys play, and even though the matches aren't always the greatest, it's still good to watch (in a way). Can remember last season's Baby Broncos game when Denan Kemp scored, what I thought, was the try of the season against the Sea Eagles. Wouldn't have seen him play probably at all that season if it wasn't for a weakened Broncos side during Origin period.

You know you can watch the U20s or NSW/QLD Cup if you want to watch reserve graders or the next big thing. Would be a lot better if we had breaks during the season for SOO and maybe even Australia/NZ Test matches.

Agreed. Move SOO matches to Friday nights or Sundays, and have that as the only fixutre for the weekend. Would certainly add to the spectacle of it, and wouldn't disadvantage teams who have 9 players out. Hate the Storm all you like, and argue that it should test teams depth, but no team should be disadvantaged to such an extent due to representative football.

Would also help player burn out issue as well. It is pretty stupid to have two byes per side each season, in a 16 team comp. Just have three weeks off during the season for SOO, play 24 rounds and start a week earlier.

The sad thing is there has been little coverage about SOO this season, compared to most seasons. I guess that fact that most people expect Queensland to whitewash the series doesn't help the coverage down in NSW. As well as the fact that the Queensland side has been in hiding in the last week. But if all the focus is only on SOO for a whole week that will improve things. I think I have read more this week about Sonny Bill then SOO.
